We started insurance for our whippet puppy, corky, in March 2011. The policy cost £16 per month and I set up a direct debit. In march this year I got the renewal quote. Corky has had no medical issues since we had him apart from the usual vaccinations and neutering. The renewal price was £25!! That is ridiculous being as I didn't claim anything all year!
I cancelled the policy and swapped to a different company using a price comparison website. It's now cheaper than the original price!
When I originally set up my policy they told me I could cancel anytime. Now that I've cancelled they're chasing me with a debt company.
If I had checked this website beforehand I wouldn't have bothered signing up with them in the first place.
