I was so pleased with Argos initially with their Platinum cover. My dog is now 4 years old. The first 3 years the premiums were about £18-£25 but my renewal this year has gone up to over £50 - a 100% INCREASE!!!! Argos are now underwritten by Royal Sun Alliance and they have blamed this switch to RSA as the reason for the increase. Argos don't want to know. I have stuck with Argos because my dog has an ongoing condition - perhaps that's why Argos go rid of us. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend. In fact, a colleague at work has just got a puppy and asked my advice and I have said don't use Argos.
