We've had our cat for a year and a half now and shortly after we brought him home we purchased the Superior Plus policy. Our cat has had two quite serious accidents, the second of which cost us in the region of £2000. Our vets unfortunately require payment from us upfront, however the process of claiming with Animal Friends both times has been extremely easy. We simply printed a claim form from the website, filled in our part and then left it with out vet. They completed the rest and sent it off for us. It took about a month to receive payment, I'm not sure if this is Animal Friends' timescales or if our vet had the form for a few weeks, however there were no queries over the amount claimed and it was all refunded straight back into our account. Considering the cost of the policy (which may well increase next year!), it has been well worth us purchasing this policy.
