A little judgemental

Overall my experience with animal friends insurance has been very good and I would recommend to a friend. (I have 2dogs insured with them) However I have to say that I am a little disappointed with my recent claim, my dog was injured in a dog fight (not his fault, completely) and needed stitches and a drain fitted, it was the second time he had been in fight, first time was more of a scuffle but did still need some medication. He is a staffie cross and these dogs get a bad reputation often through no fault of their own or the owner's. And now he and I are being judged for his injuries and animal friends will no longer cover him for this type of injury in the future, they still fully cover him for anything else in the chosen plan.
I can imagine what some of you must be thinking,(it is the owner's fault, she can't control and look after her dog) I love my dog and currently spend a fortune on him, with insurance and petclub and calming medications for his stress and anxiety, I just want it to be noted for other's out there. That you will be judged if your dog happens to get in a fight that is not completely his fault.
Other than this, animal friends are one of the best competitively priced insurers out there and I do recommend them, just make sure you read the clauses and buy enough cover for your breed and cover all aspects that your breed will require.
