Refused to pay vets fees on a claim I made, claiming that the incident was linked to a congenital/hereditary heart murmur (King Charles Spaniel) despite the vet checking vital signs and getting clear blood tests back. This left me out of pocket over £200 and also they refused to cover any other illness in the future that they could remotely/dubiously link to the heart murmur.

Don't be fooled like I did with the comparison websites, the sales pitch of what they cover, how much they pay out etc isn't worth entertaining when they have an underwriting/claims handling team that try to wriggle out of any claim. In looking on forums, review sites and asking at the vets I've found this out the hard way.

People usually do find out the hard way, just like me, if someone had just said why don't you ask a veterinary surgeon who to insure with the outcome could have been a happy one, when you have pet you love dearly its heart breaking to be told sorry your not covered we have a little clause here....don't sit back spread your experience far and wide I will until I receive my vets fee's
