My 6 year old dog had a bone tumour in her front leg. Apparently because she had a dislocated knee operated on 3 years before she was not covered. Our vet wrote a letter explaining that these were not related problems but they still refused, saying that the tumour pre dated the start of the policy ( it didn't).

As it was we had her put to sleep so the bill was not massive, imagine if we had her leg operated on and chemotherapy which were the other possible choices.
