£44 a month for my French Mastiff and for the first year-1 ear infection & 1 stomach upset -off I went to the vet. AA cannot be faulted for reimbursing me - but my new premiums for Year2 are £99/month. Originally told it was because I'd made a claim, then due to rising costs, then "it's not our fault it's the underwriters...)-they cannot justify so make excuses. Advised to downgrade my coverage to make it £64/month! I took out lifetime coverage and didn't expect the AA to be taking advantage so extremely. Completely unreasonable, unfair and misleading on initial take-up as not advised about this impact.

Yes of course I have. I've spoken to 3 different contacts and have been advised to go through a formal complaint before heading towards the Financial Svcs Council, and also written a complaint to them via their website. I still have no justification of this ridiculous hike other than excuses that it is the "underwriters" fault. My contract is with AA not underwriters and the bureaucracy is unnecessary
