I first thought that Platehunter was an automated service with no personal contact as I had a question not covered in the Q&A i.e. I thought that as part of the process I would be paying for the plate and inputting details of my existing car number plate, (but as I found out that wasn't part of the process at this stage) and as I had paid the extra fee to have Platehunter deal with sorting out the V5 with DVLA I was wondering why it appeared I would have to return the documents to DVLA, so was a bit worried!. I got through to a voicemail message from the person I dealt with saying that he couldn't get to the phone, which got me a bit more worried, I sent a text query, and he returned my call within five minutes. He explained everything clearly, organised the transfer with DVLA within two days and rang my on a sunday to confirm that I was legal to put plate on my car from Today, just need to inform insurance of plate change. in summary excellent speedy service and would recommend highly.
