“Awful - Plates are DULL GREY not white”

I purchased plates from here and although the finish is rather poor it was acceptable. What was not acceptable was the colour, although the rear plate was passable in a dull yellow, the front plate was another story - instead of white it was a dull grey in comparison to my old plate... infact it was duller than every other plate in the car park. I ordered some new number plates for my Husband's new car as a gift. Unfortunately I accidentally put the order in wrong so the plates delivered were incorrect. On speaking to the sales team it was clear to see that they wanted to help resolve the problem as quickly as possible. They processed some new plates and sent them special delivery so that they arrived for his Birthday (minimal charge). Wanted some plates for my VW campervan rental business with logo and website. These guys very very quick and helpful - all done in 3 days flat. That's what I call service. Much better and cheaper than anywhere else I have been and don't even mention Halfords to me. Just asked for a duplicate receipt at 9pm and got it back in 5 minutes. The fixings that I purchased at the same time couldn't be used as the drill holes are in the wrong place on my car, so the double sided tape was used instead. Good thinking on their part! I ordered a set of plates put them on my car, a week later found out they where illegal and got a tug from the old bill, contacted My showplates and spoke to a guy called Mike, he did explain that it was on the site under FAQ for road legal plates, anyway, he done me another road legal set half price, he didnt have to do that and was very helpfull, I now read the guys review before but come on if you think all these badges are legal you must be on something, i was an idiot and i hold my hand... Placed a question to my showplates and had a reasonably quick response (1hour) with detail and advise for my design as I was thinking of using a blue image. I followed this with an order and I made a mock up of how I wanted the plate to look. The chap at showplates confirmed my order and made the plate look exactly like my image. They advertise that they sell 'road legal' plates, however, what I recieved was completely illegal and not what i ordered. The plates were incorrectly spaced and had no details of the supplier or BSAU145D marker on (even though I triple checked all f this before ordering as I am fully aware of the laws around number plates). Need to perhaps be more aware as a motorist - if you design stuff online you should know when on the road what is and is not normal - they have supplied you correctly and now you feel the need to trash them because they won't correct your mistake. I have dealt with these guys plenty of times and always been happy.

We added the badge you sent us hence the poor quality, its not our fault your badge was like that, You agreed the mock up before printing as you state above! why agree it if no good. We offered a refund to you if you returned the plates but you refused to and said you would use them but wanted another set (Come on!!)

the badge i sent you was 1400 x 2500 pixels in size, theres no way it would have become pixelated as it did - plus, it's odd it didnt get badly pixelated last time you used it - what does that say about your design & printing quality - its gotten a lot worse...............
As i said the plates i received looked nothing like the mock-up shots i was sent and aggreed to! If the product i request & pay for is not what i received then surely i should be refunded?
i dont think you'll have any issues spending my money, or any of it will not be to the standard you expect it to be!
