Received a letter with my daughters details but different client name saying her loan was approved - except she had never applied for one. The 0800 customer service number on the letter is bogus - don't call the 0903 number. I've reported in

Beware, like others i received a letter stated I had been approved for a Loan, (strange since I have never applied for one), just call this number prime rate number obviously. If anyone calls it they will be charged £54.00 As it was the only number on letter I called the FCA for advice. They gave me an e-mail address for the Company and explained they have to disclose where they got my information from. I did this, and Brightskyloans e-mailed back saying they got the information from a Company called Future Finance, so I e-mailed them, they replied very quickly stated they do not have any records at all in my name so would not have passed on any information, so obviously Brightskyloans were lying. I have contacted them again telling them this and that I will be contacting the Financial Ombudsman with all the information as they are breaking the FCA Codes of Conduct. Looking up the name on the e-mail from this Company, the same person who used to run Welcome Loans and was taking to court for scheming people and is unable to hold a Directorship with any Company for some years. It is pretty obvious the person running the show at Brightskyloans must have some connection to him, otherwise why would the FCA have his e-mail registered to Brightskyloans contact details. STAY CLEAR REPORT TO FCA AND FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN after contacting information.

I tried emailing Brightsky Loans but said this email has been permanently removed /blocked and unable to deliver my messages
If you could send me the email address you used that would be great. Because I'm in the same situation as you
Applied for a loan and never received it

i reported both these companies to FCA and Financail Ombudsman, sending all the correspondence and e-mails. However, because Future Finance deny any knowledge, nothing is being done. I even had an e-mail from Future Finance stating they buy information but because they stated to Ombudsman that the person didn't work for them (total lies), no further action was taken. Just to everyone do not give these people the time of day, my story is a replica. Don't waste your time with the Ombudsman, as I say they take Financial Futures word for it. I wasted time, paper money raising a case.

Received a text claiming my loan application had been approved and to expect paper work in the post. I haven't applied and don't want a loan, so went on their website for a customer service number, as I'm worried someone else has been posing as me and applied. The freephone number shown is bogus! And the premium rate is a complete rip off! This company is dishonest and should be closed down. I'm reporting them to trading standards.

I received a letter stating i had been accepted for a £1500 loan and if i phoned the 0903 number at a rate of £54 for 15 mins all would be good. I have never applied for or phoned these people this is an underhand means of tricking people out of excessive phone charges on loans they do not want. Ignore any contact these people make.

Hi, I'm the tin man and this is my review. I was satisfied with how they conducted themselves, I never rusted or had to apply oil to myself at any point. Got a £400 loan which I spent on spare parts including a new can of WD-40. Thank you BrightSky, you saved me.

Customer service number bogus as is email address. If you google their registered address you will find that it is owned by blue square who provide virtual offices for £29 per month. There are 533 businesses registered to address. Be aware blue sky are a low brow scheme.

I've had the self and same problem as you answered a whole load of questions over the phone for 15 mins running up a phone bill of god knows how much .. But I had two letters from them .1 was to confirm id been accepted for a loan. And after I mad le the phone call 1 week later I had another letter asking to confirm details Etc and said WE AIM TO PAY OUT YOUR LOAN WITHIN 1 HOUR AFTER THE CALL but they didn't even ask for my bank details. They gave me two choices.
1 bank account transfer
2 cheque.
So I chose bank transfer because its easier.
So I wrote them a letter around 27/06/2016
After my 2nd phone call. Asking them for a refund on my phone calls. And 2ndly ways to pay my loan out. and I also told them I phoned them on the 20/6/2016.
So I wanted 2 refunds of them. 2 weeks later. Still not heard anything from them regards to my loan
