Ive had to deal with reassure on behalf of clients in regards to their pensions. Every advisor i spoke to advised different information and i was never given a clear answer. I am absolutely amazed that no Financial Body has looked into this Institution. It has been taken over by so many Companies that I even have lost track of the Companies involved since i am talking about when it was Laurent Life. “Customer Service = Constantly Shambolic”

Received cheque July 13 for policy cancelled and sorted 2009! No explanation despite constant phone calls (one stated miscalculation originally??!) and emails and now a complaint letter. Very nice to get money but it was part of a pension so why not transferred there as original sum was? (They caused a massive furore and delays sorting it all out then when they were Windsor Life) How do I know it's right now? “Delays and excuses”

I cannot believe that any company monitored by the FSA can behave like this! Initially, I was told that my pension lump sum could not be paid on the due date because it fell on a Saturday. I was assured it would be in on the following Monday. I phoned on the Moday to enquire why it was not in the bank. I was told it would be "processed tomorrow" and would take "a couple of days for it to clear". Very difficult, they continually change their requirements and take a long time to respond to correspondence.
