“Most excellent (and they work in Airsporters, too)”

The moment you open the tin, the manufacturing quality is evident.
Quite a plain pellet, with a large head and a waist that is rear of centre, making it nose-heavy.
When loading into my BSA Comet, the first thing I noticed was how tight a fit it was- had to push the last millimetre in using the edge of my thumb-nail. And from the first shot, no previous barrel-clean or anything, I got extremely tight groups. And, maybe because of the large head, or maybe because of the tight fit, or both, they hit home with considerable clout. I hit a squirrel (heart/lung shot at 30 yards) and it was dead almost instantly.

On the lid there is a little icon which says ">25J", which means "recommended for guns producing at least 20 ft-lbs". And with the heavier pellets on the market (20 grains or more) that is indeed the case. However, at 14.66 grains these are fairly typical 12 ft-lb fare, and they are stonkingly good.
From a 20- or 30- ft lb gun I should imagine that they are long-range lethality incarnate.

Now, back to the tight fit. This is because they are 5.54 mm, a touch larger than the 5.51 and 5.52 mm of other modern pellets. Which means if you've got an older British gun, they are so close to the actual bore size of 5.58 mm (5.6 is the NOMINAL bore size) that they perform very well indeed. So, Airsporter owners moaning about the blue-tin 5.6mm Wasps, you now have a viable alternative. And I thank the many U.S. airgun blogs for providing me with this information.

A huge thumbs-up for these pellets.

Follow-up:
Subsequently tried them in my BSA Ultra- same results. Half a dozen test shots, dead on from the first one. Had a little camo-in-the-woods session (hunting seems a bit too grandiose), 4 shots and 4 kills- another squirrel, 2 magpies and a pigeon, ranges from 25 to 35 yards.
They weren't just 1-shot kills, they were virtually instant. The phrase "superior knock-down power" could have been invented for these beauties. Brilliant.

And they are also superb out of my .177 BSA Scorpion. One-shot kills out to 35 yards; all head-shots admittedly, but the gun and pellet combination lets you make head shots every time.
