“Wonga: does what it says on the tin!”

I have been using wonga for about 6 months now and find it brilliant. Yes the interest is high but people dont ever seem to mention that the APR is only applicable if you didnt pay your loan of for 12 months but if you take out a 500 pound loan over a month then youd pay like 24% interest, APR is only a concern if you plan to default on your loan and then if that is the case you shouldnt bother in the first place! It annoys me when people complain that a company charges them high fees when they dont pay on time etc, its not like you didnt know and its no different with banks or credit cards.
So back to wonga, if you are after a quick loan short term and you dont have an overdraft or a credit card then wonga (out of all of them) is probably the best option, just make sure you pay on time or ask them to defer it to the next month. Another thing with them is that their app is amazing. Out in Spain I needed some money due to an emergency and using the app it didnt even touch my data roaming charges and within 12 minutes from starting the app I was at the cash point withdrawing the money, unbelievable, I once nearly took a pay day loan with some random company and they wanted to charge 15 quid just to do a same day payment.
Just spoke to one of their customer service agents who was amazingly helpful, Uk call centres too which is a godsend as well as the 0207 number which is awesome cos its in my bt free calls thing and my mobile minutes.then you probably cant afford to use wonga in the first place but if you need money and have some urgent thing to pay for then you might as well.
Dont get me wrong, if you want money to go out
