“Peachy Competition Winner”

Written on: 17/05/2013 by kerry1520 (1 review written)

I won £50 today with Peachy via facebook. I sent my details to them as they requested and they followed up practically straight away telling me they would pass on to their accountant and get the money transferred into my account. Shortly after I got another mssg from Peachy telling me their accountant had transferred the money and it should be in my account today. About an hour or so later I checked my account and the money was there. Very happy with the fast and professional service I... (read more)

“PEACHY ADVERTISERS ON GUMTREE”

Written on: 15/04/2013

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! I applied for a peachy loan after seeing an advert on gumtree I clicked on the following link as instructed paydaylenders-rus(dot)co(dot)uk and it took me to peachy loans. I then looked at other loans on gumtree and found the same adverts with the same link on every advert. After obviously having my suspicions raised I decided to conduct more research . “Extremly bad with new customers, beware!”

Written on: 04/04/2013 by gpbrown81 (2 reviews written)

I already have a fairly good standing with my current lender, my limit is approx £630. I thought I'd shop around for a better deal. So I went on to the peachy website and filled out all my personal information, and my debit card details. Their website told me it was making a decision which could take 3 minutes. It then redirects my browser to smile finance, a financial broker who's page asked me to enter my card details as there were 5 lenders ready to give me the money I asked for. I... (read more)

Really? Reading your privacy policy:

"Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites."

Granted you do not have any liability for the way in which they handle your personal information through their "Privacy Policy", that doesn't mean you don't accept responsibility for sending customers there in the first place.

You also say in your privacy policy that:

"You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes."

and:

You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data. You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us at 43-45 Portman Square, W1H 6HN, London, or by email: info@peachy.co.uk"

However I have written to you, and you had failed to even acknowledge my requests.

I think you should be ashamed of yourselves and have your license revoked to operate in the united kingdom.

There is one thing for certain I WILL NEVER EVER use peachy.co.uk again, and thanks to review sites like this perhaps other customers might sit up and take notice.

It was expensive but still useful. I paid my loan in 3 installments and the monthly burden was less than I actually expected. But if you do choose that option is still even more... (read more)

Hi, we are very sorry for any inconveniences caused!
In order to protect customers - not to put them in a difficult financial situation, we assess each application on an individual basis and ensure that customers can afford their loan before we approve it. It seems that in your case our Credit Committee decided to ask for additional information in order to process your application.
Furthermore, it seems there has been some sort of misunderstanding as documents downloaded from online banking are acceptable.
We run your application through credit bureaus and approve your loan based on many criterias including your credit history. If you default on your loan, we may make a reference to a credit reference agency, which could make it more difficult and expensive for you to obtain credit in the future. This is the only time we
"Your application is declined" is just a email between Peachy and a client as we do not record or forward such information.
We are looking forward to receiving further information from you to answer all questions more specifically.

My sister applied for a peachy loan about two weeks and was declined as she didn't have 1p in her account to verify her details. i received a call from her today saying Peachy Loans took £68 out of her bank today and when she called up to ask why, as she had been declined and received no money, they said this was a fee they charged when people got declined and peachy gave there details to other payday company's. Apparently this was in the terms and conditions. i have never heard of a... (read more)

We are very sorry to hear this. According to the law and the internal policy of Peachy.co.uk we will never promise a guaranteed loan unless we have compiled a credit check on the client, please note that applying for a Peachy loan is completely free and we will NEVER charge anything for it. We would strongly like to point out that when applying for a loan, businesses have no right to ask a client for a prepayment. If a company has done it and should do it under the name of Peachy.co.uk, then you are dealing with a fraud and we would suggest you to end all relationships with them immediately.

Peachy.co.uk tried to verify my account five times, asked for 3 bank statements then was declined for no reason. Makes no sense and any other payday loan provider i've had was much, much easier than this. Then, they block my account. Go to Quickquid or Txtloan, they're so much easier. (read more)

“payday loans are supposed to be avoided, but ...”

Written on: 08/02/2012 by Mathew_Shepherd (1 review written)

I know that payday loans are supposed to be avoided at any cost, but the banks refused to lend me money so I had no other choice to cover my unexpected costs but to turn to payday loan lenders. I took out a loan with Peachy and didn`t have to be disappointed. I got the money I needed at the time I needed. As long as you pay back on time payday loans can be of great help. I did and everything was as promised on their website an by their customer service. (read more)

I repaid early, and got a message on my account saying my credit history... (read more)
