“All peachy creamy for me!”

Written on: 24/09/2014 by thesclarke (1 review written)

I applied for a short term loan late on Tuesday night and by 10am Wednesday it was in my bank account. After applying I started reading these reviews, I began to get concerned over the services and was worried about broker charges comming out of my bank account. - How wrong was I! I had a few issues verifiying myself at first and I had to wait to be processed manually by Peachy. Understandable though as my credit rating is not the best. They phoned be in the morning to verify a few things… Read Full Review

They can not - they are acting in breach of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. they can only give out your contact details should you give your consent!! The websites forwards your details on to companies that harass you claiming its all part of the service. Pfft!

Please report them and get them shut down.

“Fine if loan is approved, absolute hell if NOT”

Written on: 23/08/2014 by 1948Guthrie (1 review written)

AVOID this company if you value your privacy. By choosing Peachy loans it was a personal choice for me. I have been accepted twice in the past and never had a problem getting the loan or paying my loan back on time. I applied recently and was declined, which is fine. But what was absolutely not fine is that at the time my personal mobile was getting fixed so I (stupidly!) inputted my work mobile - which is now getting hammered by text messages telling me I have been accepted for a loan that I… Read Full Review

PEACHY - Please don't even bother writing a response on here with your crrap. This company is 200% responsible for all the harassment people are getting so do not try and deflect the problem that it is someone else that is spamming us. Peachy are the only company that I have given this mobile to, so it is you. No question.

I am reporting this company to the financial ombudsmen for all the distress you cause people who do not deserve this - i have had to block all incoming sms to my work mobile now. I HAVE tried contacting these companies to remove my mobile and they DO NOT answer as they are just ****.

Completely unethical and although you are not giving out financial data - you are the root cause of all this harassment, that is illegal.

This response is an outright lie from Peachy. They probably pay peachy to get your details (I'm speculating until i know the facts) that are trying to lure you into taking a loan with them. They hide behind the sms messages. I got to the point that i tried call them to remove my details and guess what....they DONT ANSWER the mobile they are harassing you from!!!! I called one of them back straight after a sms came in and they would not answer it.

I know for me, it is 100% Peachy that is responsible for the harassment as they are the only company i gave my work mobile too as i thought i could trust them!! Pfft!!

WAKE UP PEACHY, you are NOT a responsible lender.

“Not very peachy when in financial hardship”

Dear Customer,

We can assure you that we always help our customers in financial
difficulties and we will always be understanding and fair. We do not
have any hidden fees and our bank details are provided to all of our
customers even before the repayment date.

If your financial circumstances have changed then we are prepared to
consider a reasonable and affordable repayment plan. We would never
ask you to involve your employer but if you are now unemployed or in
receipt of financial support, you may be asked to provide proof of
unemployment or redundancy. This would not be in a form of a letter
from your employer to us, simply a copy of P45 or a copy of
termination of work contract.

Alternatively, we consider offers by debtors to pay by instalments
provided such debtors have supplied evidence of inability to pay in
full or accurate income and expenditure information demonstrating the
maximum amount they can afford to pay. We have established and
implemented policies and procedures for dealing with customers whose
accounts fall into arrears that are fair and clear and we always
ensure that we conform to high ethical standards and allow for proper
consideration of the customer’s circumstances.

Please be so kind and contact our Collections Department in order to work together toward reaching a mutually suitable agreement.

“Not what it says on the tin !”

Written on: 20/06/2014 by JayceMcCartney (1 review written)

The statement of decision and loans in minutes is a complete myth!. After giving all my details including my debit card I waited for 6 hours, when I'd not heard anything I phoned their expensive telephone line and after waiting 7 minutes in the queue I asked them to withdraw my application. The man was quite rude, I asked for email confirmation confirming that they would not continue with my application or take any money from my card and what I received was an email saying my application has… Read Full Review

Hi,

Are sure it was Peachy loans? Because we never approve anyone before they have filled in the whole application. We also let you know right away if you are not approved.

Could you please specify where did you apply for the loan? It could be some scam site using our branding, if that's the case we would like to get it removed right away.

Thanks a lot in advance!
