“Unprofessional, unreliable, more marketing than delivery”

Visa Passport Pro almost certainly gets its business from manipulating web rankings, rather than word of mouth recommendations. They are a Boca Raton-based group operating under a variety of names (Expedited Docs, Visa Passport Pro and one other which escapes me). They have no offices in Washington or New York and rely on arrangements with local courier companies to process visa. They are quick to call back to close the sale, then extremely poor at following-up. I fell for their offer to get a Brazil visa in 4 days, using a special "non-residency service" from the New York Consulate (normally, you are required to use the consulate in your region, in my case, San Francisco). The visa was submitted late (at FedEx office by 9:30am for their pickup, collected at 5:30pm and submitted next day); asked me to enclose blank US Postal Money Order "so that the courier could fill it out properly" (I did not). No further follow-up till day I was suppose to receive passport. After many calls to many VPP representatives, I was told, in order: "our regular courier is in Puerto Rico and we are trying to contact him..."; "I know this must suck, but...";"your passport was put in the wrong drawer at the Consulate..."; "you'll get it first overnight delivery at home..." Passport arrived after 8 days. I had to cancel flight, absorb a $200 change fee, reschedule meetings.... Use Travisa.
