I contacted them to obtain a sponsor license to be able to employ foreign artists and pay £1200 of fee upfront. Not only they did not support me but their intervention actually hindered the process: with their involvement I had the license refused 4 times, I then decided to apply on my own and was accepted straight away. The police are investigating both companies - UK Visa and Immigration, UK Immigration Barristers. Seems like there are a lot of personnel who are tied to both companies. Neither company comes under OISC regulatory body for Immigration advice.

I first contacted them last year, has two of my visa applications were refused. This company promised to arrange all paper work and help to prepare documents and the application. They sounded so helpful at the start, then they wanted there £1200 upfront. Then the problems started, we was given FALSE and MISSLEADING information, and emails went unanswered, phone calls ignored. The group UK Visa and Immigration Scam has now been blocked on facebook - seems they did a pretty good job at knocking a hole in the income of the likes of UK Visa and Immigration (no longer registered with OISC) (winding up order against them) now seems to have transferred business to UK Immigration Barristers.

I am going through pain of waiting for my application, they just said because of data protection you can not talk to Barrister who is handling your case. I have idea is it true or not??
I just got name of Barrister in my control panel and nothing else, its been 1 month and there is no proceedings in my application. Kind of document they asked and I replied is seems generalised and nothing related to my case.
Till now it seems to me a complete SCAM, if I am not convinced then definitely I will not dispatch my original documents with them.

we are still dealing to them as between this company and home office they lost our passports. first of all i requested document return from home office-to be able to prove the case status. then i will write complaint to home office.
i also complained to OISC,although they would not proceed claim as visa and immigration service are already suspended (even we sent documents in december when they acted under OISC legislation. we also written a letter to local MP, who contacted home office on our behalf.as last measures we are going to talk with police and media. good luck. if you lost money you can talk with your bank too, i know some people got their money this way

We had the same problem.
The only person i managed to eventually receive any reply from by email was (name removed) ..... Which quickly came following a threatening telephone conversation with UK Immigration Barristers (which I believe is the new company).
We managed to get all of our documents back but still waiting any refund that was offered to us.
Google search him & you will find quite a tangled web (also search any of the names you were given in communications while you dealt with this rip-off company.

I have experienced similar story here,they lost contact since I tryied to reach them this Aug,untill one month wainting and made several calls to any contacts that I could reach for yesterday,I totally realised this company is gone....I am feeling very upset and do not know what should I do next.

Uk visa and immigration solicitors, Newland house,
Birmingham. Were the WORST solicitors I have used.
They lied to us, gave false information and stalled for time.
I made an offical complaint to the immigration commissioners, and have just received a letter to say that the solicitors have lost there licence and there registration with the OISC has been cancelled.
I lost £1200 with them.

They took close to 15 months to prepare an application that was worse than I could have done myself. They wasted so much time by not giving us all the information we required to obtain the correct supporting evidence then at the last moment switched the type of visa we were applying for which was denied by the UK border control. When I reached out to advise them they have yet to respond. These people are only interested in taking your money and provide a terrible service. (read more)

The NFIB (National Fraud Intelligence Bureau), where all reports of fraud are sent, considers the situation to date to be too small to investigate!
We urge all victims to report their cases to ActionFraud so that more information will get through to the NFIB and they will reconsider....if not these fraudulent charlatans will be able to continue their lies!

Very bad company, no support and yet taken £900 for a settlement visa. I done 90% of the work in order to get my girlfriend visa with British Embassy in Moscow.

I have spent the last week trying to contact them and no luck. Ever number that I have for them is either a recorded message telling me to email or is no longer active. When I email, I get no response.
I did a bit of checking and there was still activity on their Facebook page. So i sent them a private message asking why i can no longer get in touch with them and that I had requested a call back and no-one had got back to me. They responded with a message asking when I requested the call back to which i replied 'yesterday'. The afternoon of that same day, i checked their Facebook page and it had been deleted
To get in touch with them, I have even pretended that I am a new customer and requested numerous call backs and no one has contacted me.
I have a feeling that they have gone bust, been shut down or are no longer available and have no idea what to do next. They may have my visa and passport, they may not... I have not had a clue.
Have you had any further look with getting in touch with them/finding out what is happening? Have you reported them to the OISC? Please comment even if you have nothing yet as I want to start investigating this further.
Lets keep this thread going and see if we can find anything out

One of the worst service providers in the UK when it comes to advice on immigration matters. They do all the sweet talk in the beginning, take the full amount and then vanish. Expect very late or no response at all from their case workers. There isn't much you can do once you have paid them upfront. In fact on many occasions I received wrong advice. I am in the process of reporting them to the Bar Association and also to UKBA for their conduct. Better STAY AWAY then sorry. (read more)

I didn’t need to have to meet them face-to-face as I was able to complete much of the process online. Even though the first was due to lack of documentation which was an error on their part,they refused to take responsibility and made us pay again and still got second refused because of lack of documentation. How did you keep in contact with them? Through portal? I dont have much internet access at home part feom internet on my fone so i asked to see the barrister but they won’t let me. I paid £600 to them and won’t be able to get my money back because I signed the client care letter. And I’m not the only one.

Hi sorry for delay in responding to both of you. I have already downloaded oisc complaint form and i am still trying to put all the details in as they messed up so much.
Sorry to hear you have also had problems Htang. My husband and i kept in touch via emails and phone calls. I must add the phone calls were mainly us calling them as they never rang back when they said they would and we were always having to chase up where they were up to with the application. We were always fobbed off with our solicitors secretary and hardly got to speak to our solicitor directly. JWhilst i am on here i would also like to let everyone know that ukvisaandimmigration tried to have my comment removed. Makes you wonder if ALL the negative reviews end up removed. As i now know they read the reviews on here i would also like to let them know that my husband and i are willing to offer them one last chance to sort this out. My final ps just so that everyone knows how incompetent they are we asked for the cover letter to be emailed to us to check before it was attached to the second application and it stated that my sister in law would be accompanying 'the gambian royal family' on their visit to uk. Makes you wonder what they put on the first one we didnt check as there is no gambian royal family and i cant even begin to imagine why they put that on.Oh and i do still have the email as proof

“A waste of £900”

The whole procedure was totally unprofessional from beginning to end. People turn to organisations such as this because they need help and support. Any contact with the agency in Birmingham was prompted by myself, oh, except when payment was required! Letters were not dated, had incorrect information in them and had many spelling mistakes. I have had a similar experience with these people! UK Visa and Immigration is a scam!! Please leave reviews about them everywhere to stop other people from being scammed! Also please complain to OISC (Office of Immigration Services Commisioner). I have found a lot of other victims of their services via internet and I have urged all of them to complain to Trading Standard and OISC! UK Visa and Immigration needs to be shut down!!!

Unfortunately, I've be so unlucky as to deal with these peopel and lost £800 because of my stupidity. I have spoken to them on the phone and like an absolute fool got sold on their services. Initially you get to speak to their sales team, who promise you that absolutely everything will be sorted for you. I totally agreed with you. I lost 600 to them. They said I am not eligible for a refund because I agreed to their term and condition. So I want to warn other people to fully understand their term of business and contact them face to face before agreed to anything. Did you manage to get your money back?
