Item: Panasonic PV-DV203
I have had the Sony DV 203D Camera about five years. It still performs great without any problems. Picture is very good even on our 32 inch HD TV.
I will definitely choose Sony for my next digital photo product. My 2001 Mavica digital still camera is still gets lots of use an is working

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 handles well and is responsive. All the controls that I need. Lots of clever features. Bad points are: The live viewfinder is nasty in low light: the "intelligent" selection of f number and exposure is not intelligent - often pictures are soft or movement is blurred. Pictures seem to be worse, in general, than with my compact and I have not fallen in love with my new camera at ...

Item: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3
I have used many "pocket cameras" from a variety of makes and the TZ3 has been absolutely brilliant and can withstand a fair few knocks. I witnessed two children fighting over the camera when the lens was fully extended which resulted in the lens not retracting back - a slight "push" and the telescopic lens just popped back into place and an extremely relieved mother was once again happy.
The picture quality is suprisingly good even at A3 sizes from the auto mode and the 10x Leica lens ...
