    Keyboard, touchpad, and above all: QUALITY. The DC adaptator died after 1 year, and the power board literally BURNED one year later.
    A good computer, nice, 1GB RAM (pretty good at the time), a large HDD, but really, this computer is not meant to last more than 18 months or so.

    As long as you are not going to store masses of digital photos a Seagate Momentus 40Gb HDD is fine. Upgrading the battery increased the battery life to 2.5 hours fully charged, though if used intensively to load programs this soon reduced to an hour or so.
    Overall not a bad laptop.

    Too expensive, for what it delivers (overall). But then I did buy mine S/H, so cant complain.
    No gripes about the OS, (XP Pro) anyone with a problem with the OS should format the drive & start again. I Did.


    Personally, I'll stick with my desktops thanks!

    The Packard Bell Easynote R4622 is a nice laptop for first time buyers and students due to its value for money. I bought it for £499 in September 2005 and still have it - I don't really want to swap it for a newer model. Reliability is this laptops best point.
