USELESS. INCOMPETENT. DECEITFUL. DIABOLICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. NOBODY KNOWS WHAT ANYONE ELSE IS DOING AND THEY CAN'T ASK COLLEAGUES AS APPARENTLY IT'S A HUGE OFFICE BLOCK. LOOK ON STREET VIEW. ITS A LITTLE OLD SCHOOL BUILDING.

“Disgraceful Service and no Customer Support Whatsoever”

They are completely useless. Have had two telephone calls and three text messages where they said they have found possible PPI claims and said they would send me further info. 5 weeks on nothing. Have received text messages to log into my account but cannot even register to log in because they do not 'recognise' my personal information. Can never get through to customer services because the phone is always engaged. Have left three messages to cancel my application with them due to poor service but they have still not responded. I am still getting messages to my phone asking if I want to make a PPI application to them so clearly they are not keeping proper records of their clients. They boast of making billions in their advertisements but obviously not re-investing that in their infrastructure . AVOID AT ALL COSTS

“Diabolical Customer Service”

Appointed this company to peruse two PPI claims on our behalf sent all the documents in three times as they "Lost" the others. When they say they keep you updated you get a text message with the same message "log on to your account" and each time there is no update. When you ring they say we sent you a letter in the post We was told our claims would be resolved in 12-18 weeks well after 2 1/2 years we have still not received payment and after ringing them have now been told our cases are closed. There are plenty of other great companies that provide a great service in getting you your money back we would suggest however not using these clowns.

“Utterly Incompetent and i did a better job myself”

I submitted an initial PPI check to Gladstone Brookes. It came back unsuccessful, but there was a bit of hope that another account may have some PPI. So new paperwork was sent out for this new claim. They never received it in the post... so re-sent it. THIS PROCESS HAPPENED 4 TIMES! including a recorded delivery one. And! while that lot above was going on, I re-submitted the 1st PPI claim direct to my bank. And??? THEY CAME BACK WITH A 4 FIGURE SUM. Which is all done and received. MEANWHILE? I keep being contacted by Gladstone Brookes for these missing forms. AVOID AVOID AVOID I'm not bitter about it, just bemused and disappointed with them.

“Waste of time”

I contacted Gladstone Brookes over a PPI claim on a mortgage ....and quickly wished I hadn't. After supplying all the information, I needed to contact them and got caught up in a ridiculous recorded message, having to listen to meaningless stuff .... then the message ended! Tried this several times, with the same result, wasting time, effort and money to no effect. Then the bank contacted me directly - and asked exactly the same questions I had answered for Gladsone Brookes. This was their job, they were going to get 25% of any payout and as far as I was concerned , they did nothing. Received a letter from the bank, turning down my claim, followed by a pathetic letter from Gladstone Brookes with a tepid ' well, you could try to appeal ......' Do not waste your time with these people. There are plenty of much better firms.

“PAIN IN BACKSIDE”

This firm acted for me two years ago, nothing came of it at all. They have kept my phone number, they have rang me twice a day for two weeks, I had had enough. I spoke to a manager about this constant bombardment of calls touting for business, telling them on on the TPS register, they said I would be removed from there details. Low and behold, three hours later and another call. You have been warned, look forward to a large fine and extra for the stress of it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Waste of time”

Don't bother using these guys, they take too long to do anything, have no communication ability & cant find PPI on accounts despite sending them statements which show the PPI payments. I have since claimed against policies they said had no PPI or would offer no payout & have received payments, just for spending time doing what they say they do for you!

5 years ago I put in a ppi claim, sent back paperwork, they didn't receive it. filled it all out again, sent it back. received more forms, filled them out, sent them back, they never received them. Then, any forms I received I sent back recorded & they still didn't receive it even though I had a signature. I have phoned a lot of times, I've emailed a lot of times. Nobody ever gets back to me or responds to my emails. Would have been nice to have someone to talk to about all the problems I've had, but the work I've gone to, just to see if I would have a claim, I won't be doing that again. Really disappointed, no customer service at all. I would rather they said I was unsuccessful than just ignore me.

Your current effort awakened my interest in PPI but I would not use Gladstone Brookes.Is English the second language of the ad presenter.One would hope that your service is not as bad as your English.I suspect you could not care less.

“Two years of frustration for very little.”

I had three claims being handled by this company (two with the same bank)The first was sorted very easily once they had found my file, it had been lost and found elsewhere in their department. I did think that the information I had to supply in paperwork was so great I could just as easily have sorted it myself to be honest. After deducting their fees I obtained £300.00. The problems really started with the second and third claims as they related to my mortgage the red light should have flagged up when after my first claim was done with they called to say that the other claims could take up to a year and did I really want to pursue the matter. That was two years ago, I was being sent letters relating to one claim, they had lost the other, despite sending forms to me to fill out and return ( which I did) I constantly got letters asking for them. I assume those also were lost so filled them out returned them again. Got letters to say the ombudsmen couldn't make a decision without the forms, I lost count of the emails I sent asking for someone to call me and explain what was happening, no reply,s at all. received a letter ( again relating to just one claim) stating that the ombudsmen had made the decision that they had thrown out my claim due to insufficient information. Two years of complete incompetence, they don't appear to have a clue.

“Bad Customer Service”

I simply enquired to these people about a PPI claim but decided to do this myself (Which was very easy and did not cost me a penny) I had a phone call from a no to professional person and I informed him I have made a claim and no longer needed their service. Now I am being pestered by up to 4 telephone calls a day from different people at Gladstone Brookes asking about my enquiry . I have requested my details to be removed from their system and for them not to contact me but alas, it appears they are so desperate for business they will just pester anyone. Be aware about contact Glasdstone Brookes, if you do you will never get rid of them.

Bad company, lot of time being transferred from one person to another, they send a lot of paperwork,but don't even give a complete invoice total at end, terrible company , do not even come near to justifying fee, avoid at all costs

To secure a mortgage many years ago I had to take out a Mortgage Protection Insurance, in case I failed to repay the sum borrowed. Is this the same as PPI?
