5 years ago I put in a ppi claim, sent back paperwork, they didn't receive it. filled it all out again, sent it back. received more forms, filled them out, sent them back, they never received them. Then, any forms I received I sent back recorded & they still didn't receive it even though I had a signature. I have phoned a lot of times, I've emailed a lot of times. Nobody ever gets back to me or responds to my emails. Would have been nice to have someone to talk to about all the problems… Read Full Review

“Two years of frustration for very little.”

I had three claims being handled by this company (two with the same bank)The first was sorted very easily once they had found my file, it had been lost and found elsewhere in their department. I did think that the information I had to supply in paperwork was so great I could just as easily have sorted it myself to be honest. After deducting their fees I obtained £300.00. I simply enquired to these people about a PPI claim but decided to do this myself (Which was very easy and did not cost me a penny) I had a phone call from a no to professional person and I informed him I have made a claim and no longer needed their service. “Promised the earth delivery very poor”

Promise every thing at the begining but lost how forms not once but twice and kept chasing us to return forms when we had returned them by return post. Finally sorted it out direct with the bank myself and wished I 'd never used them (seems most banks have a ppi dept who are very helpful). “Think before you commit !!!!”

Yes I contacted them, yes I went through with it, didn't take all that long, bank contacted me spoke to them and from that conversation decision was not long cheque was sent to me. Should have done all this myself, as Gladstone Brooke's take most of the money back in fees etc, So really you are being ripped off twice, payed back in one had then Gladstone Brooke's send you an invoice with there fee's Which is half the money you have been paid for being ripped off in first place. Started my claim around May, had absolutely no idea if I had PPI and very, very limited information about my loans &credit cards. Over the phone Gladstone Brooks took all the information over the phone, the paperwork was sent and I had to check and sign. Then waited as expected. Have been waiting 6 months to find out our claim has been lost and had to be resubmitted. Numerous phone calls have been made to ask where the claim is up to and find out what is going on and the only reply you ever get is we are phoning the bank everyday.
