We have one of these Creda Colonial Cookers which was installed as part of our new Home's Electrical Appliances back in December 2003. We have not experienced any problems so far (touch wood)!! Must be very lucky but will take note of other comments re expensive replacement parts. We have always had a German Made Cooker and most of our other Home Electrical Appliances are of course from the like of Miele, AEG with the exception of a Dyson Hoover. If you want quality then you have to pay the price for it. do not know the purchase price of these Creda Colonial Cookers. When we have to replace it; hopefully it will not be us as we are presently in the process of a self build property and this will definitely be fitted out with decent quality kitchen Appliances. Do some proper research on Appliances before you make a purchase and purchase what you really can afford but go for a decent cooker as this is really part of daily family life; and buying a "cheap" appliance is not long term cost effective.
