Pure, unrefined Coconut Oil has a wide range of health benefits. Too many to list in fact, so its lucky I found a great article on it earlier! In terms of the Biona brand, its the best one I have tried so far. It has a smooth texture, a rich coconut flavour and of course is completely raw and organic. Its very good value in comparison to other coconut oil products as well, with an 800g jar setting me back £7.99. Its super versatile, and I use it as a spread, in baking (to replace butter) and as a stable fat to cook in. You can even use it as a moisturiser for dry skin!

yes, totally agree, this stuff is actually really good for the skin, that's what I use it for . but actually most organic products end up making you look younger and healthier.
there is a rather cynical moment at play trying to imply that organic is over rated and tastes the same. NOT TRUE. we dined at a kudos know how bistro 2 weeks ago, they are using mostly organic produce now as are most progressive bistros in the catering industry these days. you can soo taste the difference.
this product may not be the cheapest oil ingredient but if all the best bespoke catering companies are going that way I estimate that in 10 years there will be some law about restaurants having to make some sort of pledge to use this kind of pledge. but for now I very much recommend tis coconut oil
