My daughter ordered 5 bridesmaids dresses for June wedding. They arrived in a timely fashion but sadly all far too large at the bust. Comparing measurements sent they are some 5 inches larger and oddly shaped. Persun want dresses sent back and more money to remake saying they will take More detail to our measurements. Dear Persun, I feel totally betrayed by your company. I put my trust in your company and its product and the terms and conditions on your website. I paid extra to have it ready on time and did not receive confirmation or shipping e-mails, so I had to cancel an appointment when Fed Ex called the day before notifying me that my signature would be required for delivery. Putting aside the fact that the dress was completely wrong, I have never come across such disgraceful customer care, it disgusted me. Before ordering my dress, I emailed the customer service team asking about refund policy as it is a risk to order a dress online and not be able to return it. The website advises colours can vary but I did not expect the 'Dark Red' which is distinct from the 'Red' on the colour chart to arrive an Orangey/Bright Red colour. I ordered a dress from persun.co.uk and specified a date that I needed it and they said they could do it,two days before I asked if they had shipped it and they started apologizing that I wouldn't be able to get it on that date and that I should use it for another occasion,they even offered me a 15% discount. But I needn't have been because when they arrived after about 3 weeks they were perfect and very well made. I ordered standard sizes and they will need some minor adjustments but I was prepared for that. The main problem is the length they are very long but better too long than too short. I also had a horrible experience with Persun. I ordered 2 dresses, and both had problems. My "red" Christmas dress was not red at all, but bright orange, like a halloween pumpkin. When I contacted Persun to request a replacement, they only gave me excuses and said the color was right. Both dresses were the wrong size. Unbeknown to me the "taxes" section actually relates to the purchaser and I've now been hit with a £16 fee from FedEx for the importation costs. There was no mention of this during the purchasing procedure and no warnings at any stage. I wish i'd read every little part of their site first. On one shoulder it fit too tight while the other shoulder hung loose. When I requested o return both dresses, I was told to take them to my local tailor. The dress is simply stunning, the qaulity and attension to detail is beyond what i expected. the service was fantastic and arrived sooner than expected. They do not take return. Even you place your order correctly, paid on time, and provide correct measurement, but they probably will make a wrong size dress to you. When you got the wrong size dress, they refuse to accept your dress return. They will ask you go find your local tailor store and fix it. I have very terrible buying experience with Persun. It did not fit because it had a 1" thick built in padded bra. Nothing to say that they were going to deduct money out of my bank account only to sign into my bank account a few days later and see that they had deducted more than they were supposed too. I saw this online dress shop while surfing the internet! I ordered a pink dress for Prom this year ! While all my other friends were running around looking in malls for their dresses, I found mine in a lot less time, and for a lot less money!
