“Poor packaging”

I use FP for comic purchases the main problem I have is with the packing. Too many comics arrive damaged, bent corners finger marks etc. Comics should be bagged and boarded individually and sealed and not have 6-9 crammed in to 1 bag with no board and an open bag… Read Full Review

“Still waiting 10 days later...”

I placed my order on 5th August, it is now the 15th and still no sign of my order. This was a leaving gift from my former colleagues, just as well because had I payed good hard cash I'd be possibly be angry right now. It took 5 days just to dispatch, which I personally think is shocking for a company of this magnitude. Disappointed is an understatement. Am I likely to use Forbidden Planet again? “Packaged 4 books in same bag without backboards”

All for books from my previous order had there corners damaged as they had been crammed into 1 bag with no backboard protection. Despite being in a cardboard envelope the corners of this where damaged and a score mark on the front so even packaging was damaged. Ordererd 2 Lord of the rings posters for my boyfriend and they arrived ripped along the edges and with permanent creases throughout. I shop at forbidden planet fairly frequently and I don't want this to be a reflection of my opinion of the store. I think in this instance I've just encountered a bit of bad luck. “In stock but not in stock.”

When I placed my order of three graphic novels, all items were stated as being in stock. A few days down the line, only one of my books ships, the other two stated as 'processing' as they are apparently not in stock. No estimates as to when they might arrive, nothing. “Don't rely on them if you need something quickly”

You're better off taking a trip into London to visit the store, because shopping from their website is honestly terrible. I placed a pre-order for two funko pops in March. One dispatched on release, but the other has only just dispatched now, at the end of May. I pre-ordered the comic "Unleash #1" from your website, along with three other comics. After two days I received a notification that my comics had been dispatched. There was no mention of Unleash and it was not included in my package. I was not charged for it and I completely understand that the comic was popular and that there was a small print run of it. “Very slow”

Ordered just under £40 of goods, only went to forbiddenplanet.com because couldn't find the stuff anywhere else and I had been to the London store and new of their company. Placed my order on Wednesday and by Friday had heard nothing so decided to email to see where my order was at, by Monday afternoon I had received and email of dispatch confirmation but still no reply from the company themselves. “Process time.”

I can't understand why it takes so long to process an order! My items were in stock so it's not like I had to wait for them to come in. Why can't you do next day delivery like most companies do? 3 working days just to process an order? Really? And then another 3-5 working days for delivery....where are you based? The moon? I won't be using you again. If you want to wait over a week for your items this site is great. Don't expect your order to get to you the same week though!… Read Full Review

The quality of the comics aren't always perfect. Often have tiny tears at the bottom of the spine and often looks like they have already been read before they've come. Also the time it takes from finishing your order for it to be processed and dispatched is extremely slow and could be greatly improved!
