The quality of the comics aren't always perfect. Often have tiny tears at the bottom of the spine and often looks like they have already been read before they've come. Also the time it takes from finishing your order for it to be processed and dispatched is extremely slow and could be greatly improved! I've waited at least a week for products that have been in stock to be processed and then even longer for it to then be dispatched. Before I complain, I just want to say your customer service online is great. But everything from ordering to dispatch is bad. First of all it takes 2 or 3 days to "process" when companies like Amazon and Zavvi dispatch the same day. Secondly, when it did finally dispatched I learnt it's only 2nd Class Royal Mail, and I paid £4 for postage. So how come its £4 for first class Royal Mail on Amazon and its £4 for second class which will take 5-7 days? It makes no sense. Won't bother ordering… Read Full Review

“Debited 3 days before item despatch...”

Well apart from violating their own T&Cs by charging me days before my item was despatched, the item I ordered wasn't mailed until 7 days after I placed the order. Given that I then had no choice of mail provider I then had to swallow the obscenely priced cost for 2nd class delivery...?! I pre-ordered a product (BMO plush) for a friend as a Christmas present on the 5th January. The product was due for release on 15th December, when I wouldn't be able to buy it from a shop. That specific item was originally a pre-order but the manufacturer moved the release date until the 23rd January. We had the new release date up on the website and emailed all customers on the 19th December regarding the delay.

“Disappointed by the UK's biggest comic franchise. ”

The postage option is overpriced and slow considering many other independent comic retailers will dispatch it in the same time and the same way for free. I wouldn't say I would never use them again but they would not be my first choice… Read Full Review

There was a note at the top of the page that said that I had missed the Christmas delivery deadline by a day, fair enough, I wasn't that concerned about that! “very slow with no communication”

I ordered some adventure time items, that were in stock, for Christmas. There was no mention that I would not receive these in time, they were still in stock on the website. I look at the terms and condition of delivery and was informed that I would have to wait 21 days before I could question the delivery. The site itself is great, and easy to navigate. I came looking for a present for a friend, who I know loves this shop, and to my delight came across a signed copy of her favourite book. I placed an order on the 5th December and apart from the initial "we have received your order" email I have had no info on this order despite emailing customer services a few days ago. I have just received notification that my items have need dispatched SECOND CLASS post and therefore unlikely to arrive before Christmas. Although you have informed me that my order is now on its way (20 December), I made the purchase on 6 December thinking I had plenty of time to forward it on to my grandson. Even if the parcel arrives tomorrow, Saturday 21st December) I don't think it will make it to its final destination before Christmas. Placed an order on 4th December in plenty of time for Christmas. Order not despatched until 13 days later (even though in stock). Sent e-mail asking if it would be despatched in time for Christmas and did not receive a response. Ordered stuff online on the 4th of dec from yourself and various other online retail stores. By the 12th everything had arrived and is wrapped up under my tree except the FP stuff. On the 12th I sent an email to enquire about my stuff only to get standard reply of "we are busy due to Christmas" Finally on the 16th I received an email to say items were dispatched but it will take 7/12 working days to arrive to the chances of getting them under the tree are slim. You have excellent stuff from all the best shows that you can't get anywhere else, but to get a $4 key ring posted to me in Australia it was going to cost me $18. I didn't bother with my order and cannot see anything you could offer in the future that would render this postage price reasonable.
