“Doctor Who "The Day of the Doctor" Poster”

“Ludicrously slow shipping”

Shopped online to grab myself a copy of Death Sentence #1 which didn't make it to my local comic shop. I've used the online before, with similarly slow shipping, so I know this isn't a one-off occurrence. Placed the order on 23/10, then had to wait a full six days until the comic was dispatched on 29/10. And, as of 6/11, the comic still hasn't arrived. I'm not exactly sure how it's possibly to sent an item through Royal Mail so slowly, as even 2nd class will normally arrive in a few days… Read Full Review

“Appalling turnaround time”

So I ordered a birthday present for my brother 10 days ago and have only just received a dispatch notification. I honestly don't see the point in them using a 48 hr courier (for orders over £50) when it takes them 10 days to process an order. The situation is only exacerbated when they send you tracking information that doesn't match anything DPD have on their system. Going into a Forbidden Planet store to buy is always great, the staff are very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the product you are after. However, the online service is so poor! The website is hard to manage and the main problem seems to be the processing of the order. I waited 8 days from placing the order to it being shipped to then be told that is should be expected another 5-7 days after shipping. “Too slow despatching”

Forbidden Planet have a good range of comics, but they are too slow to despatch. When I order something that their website says is in stock on Monday, I would expect it to be delivered by Friday. But my order was not despatched until Friday. I'm also disappointed that the only method they send comics out by is 2nd class post. This takes too long to arrive. If you're in the UK or EU, the postage will be worked out automatically at the checkout stage. If you're outside the EU, we always send shipping quotes for every order.
