Forbidden Planet has never let me down to date. They stock a fantastic range of items at a competitive price and are my go to for merch. Occasionally there is a delay when it comes to dispatch, but I always receive prompt replies from their customer service and assurance that it is simply a matter of a backlog in the aftermath of sale periods.

I pre-ordered the life is strange comics in December and have only just received some of my order today (January 18th). The delivery time took way longer than I expected and because of this I have seen several spoilers for the latest comic. Two of my comics were also in the same plastic packaging which I thought was quite lazy. After my last comic arrives I will not be using this service again.

FP have sent a generic message saying that deliveries/dispatch are delayed. If thats the case don't expect the customer to wait with a standard 2nd class postal service on top. Get it out sooner and commit.

My order has taken over 2 weeks to be dispatched. I appreciate that it may be a busy period however I only ordered a calendar and I was not told that there may be a delay until I had to chase my order up after a week.

I've been a customer for many years, buying especially collector videogame art books. All of them are of high quality! Last time I had issue with the book I ordered, package had been very damaged with transportation. Customer support was very kind and took care of everything: sending back for free the damaged package, and sending me a new one. All of that, very quickly! Will definitly order there :)

I ordered a pop vinyl for a Christmas present on 18th December. I specifically ordered it from this website and paid more than on other sites because on the website it read that it would arrive well within time for Christmas. I have received an email today (31st December) telling me the gift has been dispatched today! Totally unacceptable.

Ordered two books a full ten days before Xmas. One arrived, the other was missing. Only today, two weeks later,did I get a notice that the second book was being dispatched? Embarrassed xmas day and had to explain that the other gift was missing. No communication or customer care. Also please do not pack a small book in a large cardboard box with a ton of polystyrene. Totally unnecessary and utterly eco non friendly. Shambles of a system.

We ordered this on 7th December but, although it was advertised for delivery on the 12th, it wasn't even despatched until the 12th. This will mean we have no secret Santa present for my son to give to his classmate on Friday morning.

ordered the book so i had something i wanted to read when i went away to australia for christmas its a long flight. i ordered the book and waited 2 weeks and still no delivery, so unless there is some kind of mail fraud the book was never sent. and as i leave tomorrow on the 10th of December 16 days after i placed my order the promise of 3-5 days delivery has obviously been broken.. i would like a refund for the 10 pounds wasted, and i would like to say i am very disenfranchised with forbidden planet for letting me down in this instance as usually your company goes out of its way to help customers and is enthusiastic about its product

Got a delivery of 4 pop vinyl instead of 6. 1 was a pre-order so I understand that it hasn’t came yet, however I ordered a brand new “newt scamander” pop vinyl too that hasn’t arrived yet, so I was wondering when I should be expecting that to arrive!

This is the first time i have used this website, it was very simple and easy to use, once i had placed my order i received my email confirmation, then i received another email confirming the delivery date, on the date of the delivery i received an email confirming a one hour time slot for delivery and the name of the driver delivering the parcel, i cannot fault the service i have received, i am very impressed.

for a book that was signed by the author on Saturday the 17th in your London store, to me it is bad practice for it to take 4 days to reach your mail-order office and to be dispatched and you still have the cheek to charge postage and then send it 2nd class post. I was recommended by my son to order from you, after this I will not be ordering from you again. This book was released by other book stores last weekend. I know that you had to wait till the author visited your London store on his country wide tour, but 4 days delay plus postage time is not needed. it should have been noted on your website before I ordered of the delay it the book being dispatched. I phoned customer service on on the 20th to be told it would be in on the 20th and dispatched that day.

I was looking for the Naruto Box Sets. I got number 2 and 3 for under half the price, I would have to pay in Denmark.

We ordered some items from Forbidden Planet on 1st November, for my son to take away , to read on his school trip to France. We placed the order on the 1sr November but the items were not dispatched till the 7th November. We now have to wait the 3-5 days for delivery which means they won't now arrive in time for him to take away. Won't order online again from them.

I am a less able person and use on line stores. I have in the past ordered Pop vinyl figures from Amazon I am a Prime member and delivered by Amazon logistics. Most times the package looks as though its been up the Amazon and the pop vinyl box is damaged. As you all know the box is just as important as the figure inside. Being totally fed up with Amazon I looked for alternative source I used to be able to visit Forbidden Planet in Liverpool So this new venture wasn't into unknown territory. My parcel arrived yesterday, only one of the two items because of release dates I suppose Carnage will join later. I live in Canada . Ordered online from UK store as book not available here. The item was in stock and available. Payment was easy with a follow up email later informing you of the cost for shipping. Once I accepted the order was completed. Good customer service and speedy delivery. Recommended.

My first experience with Forbidden Planet has been amazing. Despite my own inability to read a simple email (exhausted new mum here) and only realizing I'd misread its contents a good three weeks later (in order to have my item shipped to the USA I needed to respond in 7 days' time), Forbidden Planet saved the day, reinstated my order and shipped my book to me. This wouldn't have been such a big deal except my order was for a limited edition, author-signed copy, and so this level of service meant a great deal to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
