after searching for months i decided on this tournament edition crokinole board. it came after a couple of days and i'm impressed with the quality. there are cheaper options available in England but this really is a well crafted board that will last and be handed down to future generations and plays right out of the box with no issues that i've come across.
The only thing i will say that could be improved is that it would be nice to have some kind of disc holder included as i know these are included in some of the slightly cheaper versions.
However, going on the many reviews i had to read before making this choice i don't mind paying the little extra for a tournament spec board (these are the Willard boards actually used at tournaments) and so far play has been fun!

i did actually know that there wouldn't be a disc holder and this is really something that the board manufacturers - not Masters- is resposible for. i'm just saying that it would have been nice... somehow... ;)

Just a quick response regarding disk holders. I doubt we would want to include them with the board as most people seem happy without and the boards are already quite expensive due to the import costs. But they would work as an optional extra, I'm sure. So that's a good idea thanks - we'll see if we can obtain them in the future.
