I purchased a pair of tickets for a concert and was lead to believe I was paying the face value being $321 but the real face value was $99.50, the rest was their “mark up” for being the third party handler. When I called and asked them if I got the wrong tickets they replied “no”. When I asked them about the price difference and to justify it, they started out by telling me that if I was to buy the tickets and sell them on ebay (illegally scalping) that is about how much I would have gotten. They went on to say the market and their overhead related expenses justify their prices. G’ thanks
Lesson learned – go to TICKETMASTER
You should be told up front what you are paying for with everything itemized so we know up front if we wish to allow ourselves get ripped off.
