Daniel Barenboim and the Berlin Staatskapelle: Mozart Piano Concerto and Bruckner at the Royal Festival Hall was sold out months ago and Viagogo or similar offered only hope. The process was easy and the tickets were delivered very promptly. They were expensive in relation to the face value and there was a substantial additional charge. The total was still less than any of the(few) alternatives and that's why I went with them. I'm glad I did, because it enabled us to see a sublime performance. I've read some of the other reviews and if Viagogo had failed to deliver,I would have been furious too,so I sympathise with those reviewers. They delivered for me. I think the ones complaining about the price are absurd. You make the decision with your eyes open, knowing it will cost a lot.I've ended up not going to a 6 Nations rugby match because the mark-up was more than I was prepared to pay.My choice to walk away and watch it in the pub. Couldn't see the need to whinge about it.But even more ridiculous to buy and then whinge.
