I have recently moved back in with my parents to save money. I still own the house in another part of the country where my card is registered. I booked 2x tickets as a present for my mothers birthday for an event here in Newcastle. After I had booked I realised I hadn't been offered a delivery address option for the tickets.
After getting home from work today I called them to arrange for the tickets to be sent to my parents address. No can do. "We can only send them to the address of the registered cardholder the tickets were booked with". When will they be dispatched? "Any time up to five days before the event."
So now I have to make a pointless trip halfway down the country to pick these tickets up. I'm never using Ticketmaster again. The customer services woman (Maxine) was he embodiment of Little Britain's "Computer Says No" sketch.
Advice to anyone wanting tickets to an event - go to the box office and get the tickets yourself!
