“Ticket sent to wrong address, another ticket not sent.”

I booked and paid for tickets to two big London football derby games being played in October 2014. A week before the first game, the ticket had not arrived. The email reply stated that usually football tickets were not sent until two days before the game. Another email came saying the ticket was dispatched through Royal Mail with a tracking number. Another email arrived saying- Urgent, Royal Mail could not deliver and for me to contact them. There then followed about six phone calls to Royal Mail and two visits to the local sorting office, plus emails to ticketbis, who were less than helpful. Royal Mail have a rigid policy of sending back to sender items sent to the wrong address. If they did this there wouldn't be enough time to re-send it. Luckily I found a Royal Mail staff person who held the package could clearly see the wrong street number had been put on the package. It was hand written. So I got the ticket which turned out to be a cut price ticket with a restricted view. The seat was right at the back of the stand and I could see the game but not the big screen and had to crouch down to see whenever fans stood up. Never mind I enjoyed the game but it was a lot of stress, inconvenience in getting the ticket at a very inflated price. The second ticket for a game two weeks later did not arrive. I sent emails asking when was it going to come? I waited in on the Saturday in case by chance it was going to be delivered but there was no response at all. So this was appalling and I demanded my money back. They said they would have to contact their "representative" to find out what happened. Eventually after a number of emails they agreed to a refund and this was finally paid. My experience with this agency has been incredibly stressful to put it mildly and I won't be using them again.

Hello,

We want to apologize for the service received and to explain that Ticketbis is a webpage for individuals to exchange tickets, the sellers freely set the prices of their tickets, therefore similar tickets can have different prices.

Kind Regards

The Ticketbis Team
