I only used this platform because I had no choice and would NOT recommend if possible to avoid. Not only was the platform clunky and challenging, but I specifically selected not to have any contact/be on a mailing list and they have repeatedly emailed me from that point in blatant breach of GDPR. Report and avoid.

“No telephone lines at all.”

I bought 3 tickets for Love Supreme 2023, 11 months ago . Repeated requests to recieve my actual tickets simply gets a standadised message that I should get them 5 days before concert . I have sold them on recommended site and therefore can still not pass them on . It is impossible to get anything other than an automatic email from SEE contact centre . I spent £450 pounds 11 months ago .This is an appalling service . I will not buy with SEE again

Bought a ticket for the first time through Seetickets, and the box office even said it’s a sham ticket. Do not waste your money. I tried contacting customer service for a refund as well and they just said sorry no can do and ghosted me. I wish I could give them a negative rating.

“Gig gets cancelled - they win - YOU LOSE...”

Wow... how can a company offer 'refund protection' and then discount this and a bunch of fees totalling £15 on an order of £80 when the artist cancels the gig? Some protection that is! They leave the customer wide-open to loss. Funnily, the same thing happened a couple of months prior with a different gig where I didn't have so-called refund protection and I was refunded the full amount less a mere £2 booking fee. Conclusion: the farcical 'refund protection' they try to entice you into buying is a sham and you shouldn't throw your money away on it. In fact, you shouldn't bother with this vendor at all; go to one of their more savoury competitors such as Ticketmaster or Dice.

Absolutely agree. Similar thing happened to me. The event was in March on a Saturday, suddenly postponed to a Sunday in July and they refunded me less approx £20 fees, including a venue fee which is astonishing you don't get that back because the O2 Brixton Academy is not yet safe to go to so neither I not FatBoy Slim are physically allowed there. They say these are available in terms and conditions but you do think refund protection would protect you from events like cancellation and postponement which are beyond your control, it literally covers you for nothing reasonable. Whoever charges £6.40 per ticket for an automated booking fee system and £1.50 transaction fee for an automated system, which are seemingly never refundable needs to have a good long look at themselves in the mirror. Rude customer service as well. 0/10

Trying to order tickets for a Friday night the See website craftily offered us tickets for the following Wednesday without making it clear this was because the Friday wasn't available. Only realised the date was wrong once the confirmation email came through. See refused to refund or exchange despite 3 months between ordering tickets and concert dates. £660 lost for us. Shoddy and unreasonable behaviour from this company. Be warned.

“Awful business - zero customer service”

Awful business. Truly awful. AVOID at all costs! I sold tickets to an Ed Sheeran concert through the resale platform. The event is in mid June and the tickets sold at the start of this month (March 2022). As I bought the tickets from that platform, I could not sell them anywhere else. I will get the proceeds from the sale AFTER the event! Probably 10 days after! Simply incredible. See Tickets has been paid so I’m not sure on what basis it is ok to not pay the supplier of the tickets for 3 months? Customer services are awful - virtually non-existent - slow to respond - boiler plate answers - no attempt to provide any service. I even found the CEOs email address and contacted him directly. No personal response - handed to a minion and swatted away - referred to the Ts and Cs. I’m sure the Ts and Cs say I’ll get paid after the event. I’m sure by implication I will have agreed to those Ts and Cs. I did not read them - I had no choice but to use the platform. In any event those payment terms are blatantly not fair. Please avoid this business like the plague.

“Shady company poor practices ”

We had tickets booked to see Chris Ramsey 20/20 tour; it was rescheduled for the 31st March this year (Covid); then 3 weeks before the event they moved the date to the 30th, said they had made a mistake, and we can get a refund if we wanted, they then retained £12 of the value because we had to cancel as we couldn’t attend (toddler at home, unable to move babysitter). Looking online Chris Ramsey is in Leicester on the 31st, and unsurprisingly the tickets are selling for more on that date than the 30th. Emailed to complain and ask for the extra money back, no response. Really annoyed, I won’t be using seetickets again, and I’ll be letting the management company that Chris Ramsey uses know as they should know how a supplier treats their fans. The apology from the company is about the inconvenience, not the underhanded move in changing the date last minute so they can get a bit more money reselling tickets on a better night, you did a shady thing and changed the date last minute without asking, it’s inconvenient, yes, but it’s also just a really poor way to treat your customers.

“Terrible customer service”

Easy enough to book, problem comes when you want a refund. You cannot email them or call them, only use a web form. I’ve been trying to get money back for four months without any luck. They say they’ve sent it but it hasn’t arrived, every time I go back to them, they just say they’ve sent it. I would not use them again.

Tickets booked and paid for in July 2021. Event to take place on 11 November 2021. Email confirmation reads that physical tickets will be sent by mail and to only contact them 48 to 72 hours prior to event of tickets still not received. Why no digital tickets though?? 72 hours prior to gig I contact Seetickets: no customer service number no livebot. I receive an email 24 hours later telling that tickets have now been despatched and a Royal Mail link to track the package. I was away but scheduled to get back home on the day of the event. Arrived in the early morning and no letter in the post. I checked the Royal Mail link and it did not work. Nor did the tracking number when entered manually in the Royal Mail site. Several emails sent but since there is no telephone number at all (an old one I dug out online did not work) or a livebot or even an email address that is not a donotreply@ I am only left with contacting them through their form and I have already been wasting one full hour trying to sort this out!!!! I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY TICKETS !!!!!!

“Hiding behind template emails”

 My event was postponed twice due to covid, and I requested a refund. I'd paid over a year ago using a credit card issued by a now-defunct provider - i.e. there's no way for money issued to it to get back to me. This is probably not an uncommon scenario given covid-related postponements of events. I've advised SeeTickets of this four times, offered to provide written proof from my former card provider and new payment details etc. This would be easy for them to resolve: instead, they have responded to my emails with three (THREE) template emails stating that "the refund has been issued". It's now been TWO MONTHS since I requested this refund, and still, only form emails. I have it in writing from my former provider that any refund would have been bounced right back to SeeTickets; they know exactly what they're doing here, which is trying to hold on to customers' money for as long as possible. They closed their call centre some time ago, and have only a webform for contacting them - which, interestingly, doesn't send you a copy of your messages (which is the norm with webform customer service). If you find yourself having to contact them, make sure you save copies of everything (and god help you). For anyone in a similar situation, note that SeeTickets are members of The Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers, whose dispute resolution form is easily found online. Complaining to STAR is probably the only way to get an actual human response out of SeeTickets, so I will be starting this process tomorrow.

Never use this company for gigs. Awful from the start. I am charging back the order. Customer service is non existent and they run off with your money. They claim to do digital tickets. Mine were never transferred and they haven't replied to my emails nor paypal. I will get my money back but had to book elsewhere.

“Very poor service”

Purchased 4 tickets for a show at Rochester castle and also purchased ticket refund protection due to the current global situation. The concert was cancelled and moved to another date, which we were unable to attend due to work commitments. I requested a refund for my 4 tickets purchased . The total value being £176.10 including fees, cancellation protection etc. The actual cost of the tickets was £165.00. The terms and conditions state that additional fees of £11.10 are non refundable , which is understandable, however I did expect to receive a refund of £165.00 for the 4 tickets purchased. I was actually refunded £150.00 . Contacted see tickets and was informed that I had been refunded the full face value! I know it's only £15 , but how many more people have they done this to ? I again contacted them informing them that the face value was £165 , not £150. They then emailed me back saying they were experiencing high amounts of people contacting them , so please don't contact again! Exceptionally poor customer service. I will not be using this company in the future and I recommend that you stay clear from them and use a more reputable and professional company.

I attended the Concerto de Andrea Bocelli on the 25th of June. We were sat in a completely different location to that according to what we had purchased. This appears to have affected about three hundred other people. We complained (along with every one else) to the organisers but nothing was done. It is impossible to complain to See Tickets. They ask you for details but their data base doesn't have any record of your order! The seats we received were grade Z compared to the seats we paid for.

Claimed a refund back in March for Foals tickets as the Manchester gig had been rescheduled significantly and I could not attend the new date (as per their terms and conditions). Seetickets has yet to refund and ignores all communication which is only possible via an online form. They have shut down all other ways to communicate with them. Do not trust this company. There are many more people like me on their Twitter also being ignored.

Do not use See Tickets especially in this unstable time with so many events getting cancelled or postponed. When See Tickets eventually refunded me it was only the face value of the ticket. I am now out pocket £20 which is extremely unfair and greedy. I know that Ticketmaster and other online services offer full refunds so book through them and not See Tickets. Have been using them for years but NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

“Will be taking them to court”

Michael Kiwanuka concert was cancelled as Kiwanuka was diagnosed with acute viral Laryngitis (not COVID!). 11 days after the concert date, see tickets informed that the event was moved to 5th sept. On 9th July I wrote to see tickets informing that regardless if the event was postponed they are in breach of contract and their terms and conditions are unfair and UNDER A COMMON LAW WE ARE ENTITLED TO A FULL REFUND. See tickets had to take responsibility for the cancelled event on the agreed date and COULD NOT deduct any fees, regardless what their terms and conditions state. See tickets responded with nonsense - confirming that the event was not cancelled but postponed and asking me if I wanted to receive a face value refund. I responded to read my email carefully and copied & pasted my email again of 9th July. I then received an automated response they processed a face value refund which is unacceptable!! I responded that I did not request a face value refund and requested a full refund again. In case see tickets do not respond, we will be taking them to court as we are entitled to have all of our money back. The amount of people they have robbed so far is enormous and they should pay for their dodgy actions regardless how small amount they unlawfully deducted. Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) told me that the more people complaint, the more see tickets is reported to trading standards, the more likely Trading standard will take action against these cheaters. The more people will take this dodgy company to court, the more problems see tickets will face and hopefully will go bust. Online claim fee is £35 at money claim online for the claim amount up to £300. I encourage everyone who has been robbed by see tickets to seek justice at money claim online.

Did you get your money back? Same thing happened to me re the Brixton Academy O2 being an unsafe venue at the original time of the event and so my tickets were moved 4 months and to a different day of the week. I had refund protection but they say this does not apply. What did you do to pursue your money and did you get it back?

***** WARNING ****** DO NOT BOOK WITH SEE TICKETS. They are refusing to refund me in full for a concert cancelled due to COVID. They have withheld £20.70 saying it is there standard terms and conditions to only refund at face value. Their transaction fee is £3, so misleading. DO NOT USE THEM.
