You will be taking a massive chance by using this appalling service. Having booked and paid for Ashes tickets for the first day at Lords, my friend from Italy booked his flight to come with me. When the tickets didn't arrive, their live chat service was hopeless with promises of call backs that never materialised and they also seem to have a policy of disabling live chat when they are under pressure. Eventually received an email today that said that the tickets are not available and they will refund. Utterly hopeless and no better than touts. AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED

Seatwave is a marketplace where people can buy and sell tickets. This means that we at Seatwave do not sell the tickets ourselves and all the tickets listed come from fans and distributors around the world.

We can assure you that we have strict terms and conditions in place to ensure sellers fulfil their orders as advertised. However, in the very unlikely event that a seller is unable to fulfil a sale, Seatwave protects the buyer with a ticket guarantee, which means we will step in and try to source replacement tickets, as we genuinely care about getting people to live events.

We are very sorry that we have been unable to find replacement tickets for you. We don’t underestimate how disappointed you are and we can assure you we really have tried all possible options to source you tickets.

We would like to make this up to you and offer you something towards a future purchase.

We acknowledge the fact that you might not be interested in this in the near future as it’s clear that you feel we have let you down, however if you should change your mind, please feel free to contact us through our website and we will issue you a voucher.

It appears that they are liars as well as completely untrustworthy. Their pledge to find alternative tickets is a complete fabrication. DO NOT BELIEVE IT FOR ONE MOMENT. At the time they were telling me that they hadn't got my tickets and could not provide alternative tickets, they still had at least 25 pairs on sale on their site. I have a screen grab from the site and the live chat, both timed exactly the same. But of course, supplying those tickets would have cost them money as they were more expensive so they just let the customer down. They must do this all the time as they appear to disable their live chat when they are presumably under siege from disgruntled customers who they are about to let down. The only way of contacting them is by email that they reply to days later. It cost my friend about £700 in air fair and hotel to sit in a bar at The Danubius to watch it on TV. It is an utter disgrace to blame the ticket holders. This is their business and if they can't run it properly they should think about doing something else. WHAT A SHOCKING, SHAMBOLIC, LYING COMPANY. I am looking forward to Watchdog in the Autumn.
