I was very annoyed that after booking the seats for the Andre Rieu concert on your web site I was then informed that they would not be sent out until one week before the concert. This gave us an enormous problem as we live in Spain and were driving to Holland. The only solution was to change the address and send them to our son who lives near Amsterdam. This meant an extras 420 kilometer drive to pick them up. A complete waste of time and money.
This information should be available before the booking is made as to when the tickets will be delivered.
The price charged was astronomical compared to what other people paid on the Andre Rieu Web site.
The seats though were fantastic, second row from the front better than expected.
Seatwave did acknowledge emails and phone calls which did help with communication.
I would not use them again for any future purchases unless they improve their booking information and lower their profit margins. Also why did I have to search for their phone number on the Post Office DIR site? It should be on the web site and readily available.
After booking and paying were then bombarded with emails of reduced prices for this concert! How galling is that?

The only profit that Seatwave makes is their commission. The tickets are priced by the individual who lists them. It's also the individual seller that sends them out - not Seatwave.

The total selling price was exhorbitant. Seatwave should use another seller. If Andre Rieu's web prices are lower, then Seatwave's should match them.
I am aware that the seller sends out the tickets however the despatch date is not given until after purchase has been made.
It should be stated at time of applying for the tickets when they would be sent out giving the purchaser the option to continue with the purchase or find another supplier. Neither is it mentioned that the tickets are not printed until a few days before despatch. If one buys something then it should be available immediately or a delivery date given at time of purchase not afterwards.
Are you happy buying something and being blatantly told that the price has been reduced? If you are then you are in the minority.

It's very common for tickets not to be issued until one week before a performance, even if you buy them from a primary seller.
Of course it's galling to buy something only to discover it's been reduced in the Sales a few days later, but that's the chance you have to take with everything. Have you never had your eye on an item of clothing, decided to wait for the Sales and then discover they had sold out of your size? You say you had fantastic seats - who knows - had you waited for the prices to go down those seats may no longer have been available.
Seatwave allows anyone to list tickets at whatever price they want so it's up to the buyer to choose how much he/ she wants to pay.
