Jake Bugg, Shepherds Bush Empire = AMAAZING!

I was a little aprehensive about being on Level 2 to see Jake Bugg, however I was absolutely thrilled at such a great venue Shepherds Bush Empire is! Although I got Level 2 rather than standing it was probably better than other gigs I've been to where you stand. The view was great due to the close-knit venue. The staff were very friendly, the bouncers warned me and my friend that Jake Bugg didnt start til 10.45 (at this point it was 7pm) so we got the chance to grab some food and have a drink next door and then return for the second act! Especially as smokers, it would have been perfect if there was a smoking area. The tickets were easily purchased and quickly came through! Jake Bugg is an amazing artist to see live, I was stunned how for a songwriter his album and set were so similar. At the end he played a Johnny Cash song which completed the night! Only dislike was the mass price of beer, 2 pints = £9 odd was a shock, so I'll need to remember more pennies next time!
