Drove 80 miles to Portsmouth for a Mumford and Sons gig only to be turned away because the tickets were fake. Got a refund for the tickets.
These guys are a marketplace for touts. I tried at 9.01am on the day of the concert to buy tickets online, but couldn't because touts had taken them all. So I bought from Seatwave (240 quid for 2 for standing tickets), only to have the above happen.
Their model needs to change to be a marketplace for genuine vendors who have 1 or 2 spare tickets. That way I'd have been in a position to buy at 9.01 (they wouldn't have been mopped up by touts).
Bands and promoters need to control this.
