I booked tickets for my husband and I to go see a band at the Roundhouse in London. The gig was a sell-out, so I paid well above the face value to secure the tickets via Get Me In.
A month before the concert I was called to say the tickets from the vendor were not the same as we had requested, so they offered to source us matching or better tickets at no cost to us (their FanGuard Guarantee), which I agreed to.
The next day, without warning, I received an email saying that my order had been cancelled. As I had also booked a hotel I was very upset. I was advised to contact the Disputes Manager via email. Although I got a response from someone it wasn't very encouraging. They tried to assure me that we were covered by the FanGuard guarantee again and said I would get the best tickets possible.
A week before the concert, with still no idea if we were going or not, I received a call to say they had been unable to find me tickets. After stamping my feet and shouting, they eventually agreed to let me have the lower grade tickets, (which were worth more money). I had already said I would accept these tickets, but they wouldnt let me have them without a kick and a fuss.
It seems the FanGuard guarantee only works if they can find tickets equal or less than the value you paid. So not much of a guarantee really. I said the day the first lady rang me, that I would accept the lower quality tickets, but she cancelled them anyway and then made me scream and shout to get something I said I would have had in the first place (albeit reluctantly.
The admin fees are extortionate. The service was unprofessional and inconsistent. The whole experience has left a bitter taste and I would not use GetMeIn again.

Thank you for your feedback and I’m sorry that your tickets could not be provided.
As we’re a ticket resale website, we provide a secure platform for people to sell on their tickets - we don’t actually own any of the tickets sold online. Regrettably it was found that your seller was unable to provide the tickets.
In the rare cases where this happens we will do everything we can to find you replacements, unfortunately there just weren’t any equivalent tickets available so you were due to be refunded in full in line with our Fanguard Policy. However as a gesture of goodwill on this occasion outside of our normal policy a credit was applied to allow to purchase alternate tickets of your choosing with us.
I'm sorry for any disappointment that this situation caused.
Kind regards,
GET ME IN! Team
