Although a Foo Fighters concert is always great, I was disappointed with the Wembley cancellation. I hasten to add that this was not Double 8 Tickets fault, they can't be blamed for Dave Grohl breaking a leg!
What I was disappointed by, was the extortionate 15% they took off the money you had paid for the concert being cancelled. Having purchased 2 tickets for £100 which face value was £30 less than what I had paid, turned into a farce when they take another £30 back for cancelling your tickets. No doubt they got all there money back from whoever supplied them.
Add on another £6.75 for secure posting back to London and that cost me almost £40 for a concert I didn't go to!
Then purchasing 2 more tickets for the Milton Keynes, hastily put together sorry for cancelling Wembley, gig at £100 each, (face value £65), I feel a little ripped off.
Not so much with the price of the ticket as everyone takes their slice of the pie and let's face it, Foo Fighters are worth £100. It's the "ADMIN" charges that go with all this shenanigans.
Be careful when booking with Double 8 as they are not a preferred supplier of tickets. When the Foo Fighters confirmed Milton Keynes, priority tickets were given to those that had cancelled tickets from Wembley but only if you purchased from the preferred sellers. TicketMaster etc. NOT Double 8.
JUST NOT FAIR!
