After many visits to the Royal Albert Hall to see other artists, decided that it was time to see one of my all-time heroes - Eric Clapton.
I saw him in the sixties in the Yardbirds and John Mayall, and was very impressed by his performance in the tribute to George Harrison.
It was an added bonus to find out that Paul Carrack was in his backing band (we have seen him on numerous occasions over the past few years).
The tickets were ordered 25/09/2012 and received 06/12/2012 by special delivery. We were contacted by Double8 the previous evening and advised that the tickets were on the way.
