I had three bikes stolen in October 2012, I had to wait till all three bikes were in stock before I could get any of them delivered, expected date 18th of January. I had regular contact with the company until the 15th January, at this point I paid them some additional funds and waited for my delivery of the bikes on the Friday, having booked a day off work. On the Thursday I called them to see if they had an expected delivery time, at this point they told me one of the bikes was now not due in till the 14th February!!! Baring in mind I had spent two and half months taking the tube! Booked a day off work and they had not even had the courtesy to call me!!! I was told I would have to wait another month to get the bikes! Thankfully I spoke to the insurance company and managed to split the claim. So on the 1st of Feb having taken another day of work I waited in for my bike. It arrived looked lovely... But as soon as it took it out for a quick spin I got a flat tyre. So I tried to take the wheels off to discover that neither the front or back- quick releases would come off- I took it to the bike shop where they said there was a fault with the forks. So I contacted wheelies, they said you will need to take a day off to have it collected, then another to have a new bike delivered- if we deem it faulty- I had sent them photos it was clearly faulty. I asked if this could be done on a Saturday as I did not want to take yet another day off work! nope! I then suggested they collect the bike when they delivered my new bike due on the 14th. So again I arranged a day off to await collection. On the Wednesday I called to ensure my bike was being delivered the following day, and no..! I was then told the bike would not be delivered until the 18th of March! By this point I was losing the will to live.. A fauly bike.. And no sign of my other bike!! I gave up now and asked them to collect the bike on Friday- yes I took another day off work- I waited in all day, the box came so I popped it in..BUT no one turned up to collect the bike!!!!!! I contacted them to tell them no one did- nothing at all.. I contacted them four times! Finally I told the insurance company, wheelies then contacted me.. You need to take another day off work for collection we don't collect on a Saturday..! This time I was furious.. After all this hassle... I contacted the courier company myself who confirmed they Could collect on a Saturday! Finally they are collecting it tomorrow.. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY from WHEELIES! They are the worst company!

That's interesting that your insurance company didn't mind the claim being split.

I've got £1500 of bike sat in their depot waiting two weeks now for a cycle jacket to arrive before they will despatch.

I have contacted my insurance company to find out whether this is correct about not splitting orders or whether it's Wheelies just being tight with the delivery costs. I'll update my complaint with any information.
