Kryptonite Lock & cable set

The price of the items was very competitive and the service was very good. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the product. On the second day of using the d-lock and cable I found the cable had been cut in an attempt to steal my bike. The attempted thief was not that brightest though because having watched the CCTV he can be seen to be very confused and then angry because having cut the cable he then realised there was a d-lock also securing my bike. He did not attempt to break the lock because even this low grade thief understood he didn't have the time or the equipment to remove the lock. I am now having to decide whether or not to replace the cable because although it was cut (very easily with a single cut from bolt cutters) it is still a good way to secure the front wheel to the frame.

I highly recomend a Kryptonite d-lock. The lock is well built and very sturdy, it's just a shame the cable isn't a bit tougher.
