Karrimor notus walking shoes last only 4 months normal wear

Bought at sports directDecember for Xmas. Karrimor Notus Weather walking shoes. used 2/3 times a week max 5 miles each trip. not hiking up in the Lake District mainly a mixture fields and road use. The Walking shoes were worn out in 4 MONTHS!

Took them back to sports direct store carlisle the store manager looked at them and said fair wear and tear. I Suggested that these were not casual shoes but advertised as walking shoes and should be expected to last more than four months. They said they would let area manager look at them after 3 weeks they came back and said the area manager said fair wear and tear and would not send them back to factory as it was not their policy,??

So any one purchasing Karrimor Walking shoes from Sports direct should expect them to last no more Than 4 months !!!

For info I did not start using these until well into the new year so by my calculations they have only covered 140 miles any one hiking any distance would have these worn out in less than 3 Months

Unacceptable quality and very poor customer service
