Having received damaged goods, the only advice given on the receipt is to return by Royal Mail. Under the Sale of Goods Act, a customer should not be out of pocket when sent damaged goods, so the return cost should be covered by the retailer. The item was also too large to send via Royal Mail, so needed to contact them to ask them to collect by courier. It took 1 week for a response which told me to email cancellations@sportdirect.com which doesn't even exist (email bounced back). There is no telephone number and the courier cost to return this damaged item is going to be over £15, so I'm either stuck with faulty goods or out of pocket through no fault of my own. This has been my worst ever experience of dealing with an online retailer and will NEVER buy online from them again.
