My son paid £200 of birthday money for a scooter which within a day of arriving and only using once had a problem with it. Phoned skatehut and told to send a photo of scooter and evidence of problem(Alan key had rounded the bolt and unable to tighten bolt and so not safe to use). I phoned them to ask if with it being under 24 hours of delivery if the guarantee covered it to be repaired- was told no! I could bring it into the store- we live in Yorkshire and bought on the internet,so not an option. I said I was very dissatisfied and had a reply- your son must have put it together incorrectly,I dissagreed as he has had other scooters in the past and not caused such damage. I was told finally to take it to a bike shop and they could fix it! Great after service,not!! Another option was to pay to send it back and pay for them to maybe fix it. In the end I told them how they didn't mind taking money but once the transaction was made no longer gave a monkeys!! In the end a local bike shop fixed the bolt for free as they couldn't believe the appalling service my son had had. Emailed them to complain and never heard an apology or any contact. My son has told his mates at the local skatepark never to use this site. All they want is your money. Disgusting attitude!!
