Drove past the shop for years and finally called in, wasn't expecting much but was blown away by the amount of stuff they carry, they really do have it all, and all good kit too. The service is excellent too, lots of real world knowledge on hand and always a friendly face. It's now my first choice whenever I need anything cycling related. I wish all shops were this good.

Stumbled on this cycle shop by accident on the web. Called in and was treated like an old friend. Very informed staff with no pushy sale jargon. I went to view a specific bike and ended up with a bargain. Was kept up to speed every inch of the way with my order and when the cycle was ready for my collection i wasn't disappointed again by the service. Left with big grin, new friend and my bargain mtb. Well stocked shop with a wide range of cycles and accessories to suit all wallets and cyclists from casual to serious.

I visited the shop after finding them online, all I can say is brilliant. I had initially decided upon a Marin mountain bike but after talking with them we realised a hybrid was much more suitable for my use, and so I ended up getting Marin San Raphael. They really know their stuff and are really really good.

After a long hard search I came across the Avanti INC 3 made in New Zealand but sold here in Europe. After a quick search I found Real Cycles had this bike for sale and to make it even better it was on a special offer at a price I could not refuse some £400 down on its retail price! Why did I buy this bike? The nearest competitor sold in the UK was the Scott Sub Speed 10. The INC 3 Versus The Scott Sub Speed 10 Speed 10 Gates carbon drive CDC INC 3 Gates Carbon Drive CDX (center tracking) Better Brakes on the INC 3 Shimano hydraulic disc's and the clincher is Shimanao Alfine 11 on the INC 3 over Alfine 8 speed on the Speed 10. Also the price could not find a scott cheaper than £1000 and had to wait for delivery. Real Cycles Sent me the bike in the box I found it very easy to put on the front wheel saddle post and attach the peddles (remembering left hand thread on one side!) The first ride on this bike is amazing so quite and the gear change is what sold me this bike.

I bought my new Marin from Real Cycles before Christmas, I was apprehensive at first having been patronised by the young staff in a different shop but I'm pleased to say the gents at Real Cycles were completely different. I don't recall the name of the man I dealt with but he knew exactly what he was talking about and helped me not only select the correct bike but also to set it up for my height. He even changed some parts to make it a perfect fit, all at no extra charge. I can not speak highly enough about Real Cycles, they are a breathe of fresh air to woman cyclists.

Although I'm a keen cyclist and drive past the shop daily I had never called in, assuming it was only an online business, but before Christmas I needed some urgent spares so called on my way home. To say i was shocked by the setup is an understatement. They have a very large range of cycles and almost all the extras one could need. On top of all this the staff are very friendly and their prices are as good if not better than most online shops. Overall i am very happy with the items I purchased and will be back again soon, especially as I saw a lovely carbon road bike in their sale that is exactly what I'm looking for.

From ordering a bike to it arriving was less than four days, it was as described and at a good price. Can't ask for more.

I had originally ordered and paid for a bike from another online shop, who after a week of empty promises eventually admitted they couldn't get the bike, why was it advertised as in stock then??? I went looking again and Real were showing the same bike in stock, so I called to make sure, and they had it, waheey! Stupid me though I didn't order it that night but left it til the next day at work, when it had sold, drat! I called them to see if there was anything they could do and ended up with the next model up for only a bit more money. WIN! Bike arrived a week later, all good, no drama, been loving it ever since. The guys at Real were great, they answered all my emails within minutes normally, even late at night (do they ever sleep?) and were happy to take my calls and constant questions. Next time I want a bike I'm not shopping around, I'm just heading straight to Real Cycles.

So I had quite an urgent need for a bike with lots of additional requests. Every shop that I spoke to couldn't fulfill these... however Steve went the extra mile on quite a few occasions to make sure that I got the bike I needed and on time. He always kept in close contact and made sure that all the things that I needed were compatible. I've bought bikes from all the big shops before, but the knowledge and service they offer is sub-standard to what I recieved from Real Cycles. Overall, they saved me from having to buy a bike that I didn't really want - and instead ensured that I got the one I wanted even if it was one of the last in stick in the country!

I recently purchased 2 road bikes from Real Cycles. The entire experience was hassle free and most enjoyable. There was no pushy sales tactics, simply good honest advice. I was given all the necessary information to make sensible and informed decisions on the type of bike to purchase to suit my and my wife's needs. The entire process, from selection to bike fitting was first class and nothing was left to chance. There was nothing about the experience that could have been improved.

Very happy with service, discount, timely receipt of goods and I am really enjoying riding my bike which seems to have been very well put together.

I bought a Saracen Myst Pro 2013 model at a price that at first seemed too good to be true but after looking at online reviews Real Cycles checked out ok. Their customer service and communication is first class and can't be faulted. Don't let the fact that they are in Northern Ireland put you off - the service is better than some I've received from businesses in my own locality. I highly recommend Real Cycles for your next bike purchase. Their online finance option is also very easy to use. Thanks Ben Penarth South Wales

I bought a Ridgeback Flight 04 2013 from Realcycles. At first I was a bit sceptical as the price was so much cheaper than their competitors but after reading a number of positive online reviews I decided to go for it. It took about 2 weeks for the bike to get to Brighton as the company is in Northern Ireland. It was easy enough to build as all the hard bits had been done already but if you are a complete novice you may struggle. There were a couple of minor problems- a scuff to the gear change indicator and a small plastic cable clip was missing (presumably lost during transit. These were very minor irks given that it was £270 cheaper than anywhere else. Communication was good throughout with consistent updates on the order status. All in all it was a good buying experience.

I ordered a Ridgeback Flight 02, hundreds cheaper than anywhere else. Real cycles responded quickly to a minor order alteration then shipped the bike a bit quicker than I expected, not their fault. I changed the delivery date with no fuss and it arrived spot on time. The bike is just what I need. Thank you Real Cycles my friends will hear about you.

Bought a bike from them online last month, got it at a great price, it arrived on time and was exactly as described. Can't fault them.

Ordered my son's Saracen jump bike over the Internet following a telephone conversation with a really helpful guy at the shop in Ireland. He was really knowledgable and the bike arrived, part-assembled, within the timeframe as promised. My son (and his mates) are really impressed with the bike but not as impressed as I was with the price which was significantly lower than the others I sourced on the Net. I would definitely recommend Real Cycles and would be happy to purchase my next bike from them.
