I paid nearly £500 for a smith press machine. Nothing. Have to wait two more days before my bank can even try & get me my money back. Absolute wa*****s. If I could get hold of them they would be hospitalised.

Items arrived within a week. Items faulty, requested a return the following day. I have waited 3 weeks for a collection. Numerous phone calls and emails. I wonder if this is a delay tactic in order to not return my money? Apparently, another 10 days wait for refund if/when items collected. I would AVOID, choose a company that can honor its returns policies and puts the customer first. Who knows if I will ever get my refund for the faulty goods I paid for and they sent out. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Read the reviews for this company on all sites, not just TrustPilot.

So I paid over a week ago, my account on there website doesn't even show the order, but they took my money. I contacted via email as the chat function is not answered, I revived no reply or update, will have to cancel at the bank and find a firm that actually send the product you buy and responses to customers gives receipts etc..

Always in the past had a good experience with these guys! but last year I purchased a cross trainer for £1000 and now 7-8 months its developed a fault and they refused to get back in touch when reported now after many calls and emails I have to wait 6 months for a repair under warranty what a joke!!!!! if it hadn't happened to me I would think its a joke!!!! so now I am sat with a £1000 worth of faulty equipment but I have to wait 6 months for a repair mind I have had no calls from the engineer so 6 months down the line could be a completely different issue to the one reported. Joke avoid this company I will in future

bought and paid for a new vibration plate. Was sent a item that was a return from Amazon and it did not work. (company left the Amazon paperwork in the package)..Numerous emails that take days to answer. No phone lines open. NO chat available and the broken item is still in my hall two weeks later. Have been told as a GOODWILL GESTURE that I will get a new one when the old one is collected !!! all it needed was a apology and the proper item sent DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I wish I read all the bad reviews about Powerhouse fitness before ordering my treadmill. As described in other reviews I am undergoing a traumatic experience with the Powerhouse fitness online team. I ordered an expensive Lifestyle treadmill worth £2799. A damaged treadmill was delivered on 24/04/2020. Since then I have been emailing all the team emails of powerhouse. No response yet. I have had a chance to engage with their live chat service 10 days ago. The chat person said he will ask the technical team to look into it, but still no response yet. The unused treadmill packs are now occupying the whole room. Power house has not contacted me yet for the past 3 weeks to take the damaged treadmill back. I will never recommend this website to anyone and I will never use it again.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS WEBSITE Normally I wouldn’t take the time to leave a bad review, I just wouldn’t use that retailer again but the service from PowerHouse Fitness was so incredibly bad I wouldn’t want anyone to have to go through the hassle that I have experienced. I’m also amazed that PHF had the audacity to ask me to write a review for their site but as this was one of the only times they could be bothered to email me I will happily oblige and share how terrible they are, I just won’t do it on their site as they wouldn’t use the review. I ordered a treadmill on 25th January and within days I knew I had made a mistake using PHF. They didn’t respond to calls and took days to reply to emails, when they did eventually respond it was usually a one line response. I subsequently cancelled the order 7 days later and requested a refund. Although I had written confirmation from PHF that the item was cancelled and that I would receive a refund, the treadmill was still delivered on 7th Feb, 6 days after I cancelled the order. It took a further 11 days for them to collect the order and now almost 3 weeks since the item was cancelled I still haven’t received a refund. I’ve had to issue a chargeback with my credit card provider. It’s almost impossible to speak to their customer care team and they do not respond to voicemails. It takes days to respond to an email and most of the emails I sent were completely ignored with no response at all. PHF showed complete disregard to me as a consumer and their dubious business practice of withholding refunds is questionable and certainly not in-line with the Distant Selling Regulations. Do yourself and other consumers a favour and do not order from them. There is no place online for businesses like this.

Which I'd done a bit more research on this atrocious company before purchasing from them. It took 3 emails from me before I got a reply (I was worried that they'd gone bust) and this went no way at all to sorting the issue (elliptical trainer not powering up). There reply was total bull-crap, claiming the late response was due to staff shortages and that they were sending replacement power packs (which they never did). I've now given them a deadline to contact me and sort the problem or I'll contact trading standards! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

Good ability to navigate site and found some kit I need at good prices. Best part, if a regular Amazon uses is the seamless integration for registration and payment. This gives extra reassurance that all will go well.

Went online to buy an exercise bike, then found out it was out of stock, but for £10 more I could have a different one that was in stock, I was happy with this so rang up 1: 1)when you ring you have 2 main options - a)to place an order or b)discuss an order already placed, tried multiple times for option b - no one answers, of course if you try option a) they answer straight away. 2) When I tried to amend my order and questioned how I was able to order something out of stock - the lady was very rude and almost called me out as a liar Easy decision - cancel order and I will never order from you again.

I ordered what I though was a 50KG interchangeable barbell and dumbbell set to help get back into the home weight training. They sent me the wrong thing after a month elapsed and I had chased. No Dumbells at all. Fixed weight bar only. Wrong order and still incomplete after 7 weeks. No communication at all. Don't order online or expect any kind of customer care.

Ordered a bench on-line only to be contacted by email 4 days later to tell me it was discontinued. Yet the payment had already been taken and the website still shows the bench available. Cancelled the order now 10 days later still awaiting a refund and no response from the sales team. Avoid ordering on-line at all costs. Have bought goods from their shops before and had no problem, but any company that never updates it's stock amounts inspires no confidence at all - blatantly trying to get people to order goods and then tempt them into a more expensive option because they're holding your money already.

This is the second time I've used PowerHouse Fitness so purchase gym/weights equipment. Both times I've happily spent over £500 as the service and product quality is second to none in the UK. In fact the only area I think needs improvment is the delivery/postal service - despite opting for free 5 day shipping the items took a fair time to come (though this may have been due in part to bank holidays).

Lies upon lies over the telephone, was dispatched then told not dispatched, took a week for 1 out of 2 items to be delivered after I escalated a paypal claim. Escalated again after being lied to again about missing item and refund of postage. Cavalier attitude is unbelievable. Still awaiting on missing item. If you really want to buy from these guys then do for the free delivery, the order by 1pm for express delivery for £7.99 is a complete rip off.

Worst experience ever, charged me on a set dumbbells (£220) but did not deliver the item as advised. Called up their customer service and was told my bank information was incorrect. If it was then how did you manage to charge me? Cancelled my order and requested a refund which took 3 weeks to process but was advised within 5 working days. After numerous complaint calls and emails, my only reply was from Jayne Crawford (customer service) "Sincere apologies in the delayed response. We are currently experiencing high volume of calls and emails" Absolutely useless.

Ordered an exercise bike from them but trip reader developed a fault. Despite a long list of e-mails and solicitors threats they still do not reply. Do not buy from this company because if anything goes wrong you will not get any satisfaction from their "customer care section". More like "lack of customer care section". Be warned, just look at numerous review site to see how poor they are.

The lads in the shop are spot on, really helpful and pleasant, but beware, if for any reason something goes wrong, i.e. delivery doesnt turn up etc the customer service side of this business is awful, they only have an answerphone on the customer service number and they WILL NOT ring you back, you can email all you like and you wont get a reponse and unfortunately the head office tell the lads in store not to chase things up for you because its the job of customer serivce, so the lads instore get the hassle from customers but there is nothing they can do to help you. If you dont have any problems with delivery or your goods then this is a good company, better still go and collect your products (just hope that nothing is missing when you get it home) I have spent £3k with this company over the last 12 months and i always buy in store, never online, and i always pay in full, never use the credit facilites. This last order is the only one that i had issues with and because of the ignorant nature of the customer service / head office team i will never use them again, which is a shame.

I wish I found this review site before I ordered from Powerhouse-Fitness, but i ordered from www.bodymax-fitness.com which is Powerhouse-Fitness. Item was not instock and the website did not tell you stock levels. My Guest is that they don't carry and stock. Placed my order 4 weeks ago and still have not received it. Customer Service won't answer calls, messages or emails. Can only get through by calling Sales. I've spoken to several people who have promised to call me back or have fobbed me off. Not a pleasant experience. poor all round experience would not use again and definitely not recommended. They don't care once they have your money.

My experience mirrors many review on this site. Customer Service won't answer calls, messages or emails. Can only get through by calling Sales (for obvious reasons). Was told twice that they would look into the order and call back. They didn't. Was told twice that it had been despatched. It hadn't. Was told twice that it would definitely be despatched that night. It wasn't. I still haven't received my order
