Having brought my Whyte bike from Pedals Cycle Centre more than a year ago, and returning many times for parts and advice, always recieving a friendly welcome. A quick Google search revealed that Pedals were offering the item I was looking for at the lowest price and free postage. A few clicks later and the transaction was complete. Their website is a no-frills affair but easy to navigate and the checkout process was straightforward. Two days later a pair of Altura Winter Cruiser cycling tights dropped through the letter box. “Excellent Customer Service from the Workshop”

The rear brake on my mountain bike (bought from another shop) has not worked correctly even though it is relatively new. At short notice, Roger in the workshop quickly and efficiently serviced both brakes and sorted out the rear brake. An excellent piece of work. Roger successfully resolved an elusive problem with my husband's bike at the beginning of the summer that had defeated other mechanics. Bought a Whyte 146s after MUCH deliberation and over the many months I have taken to decide on this bike, the good advice, patience and good humoured service has never wavered. Customer service could not be better. Even price matched for me on a bike that was already discounted. Great modern showroom full of great stuff, and I even got my friend a new bike at the same time! Ordered a Ridgeback Panorama. Site states 3 to 5 days delivery as it was not a stock item.. Cycle arrived on morning of 4th day. Extremely well packaged. Took me longer to remove the packaging than the final assembly. The staff were very helpful as I was unsure of size of bike I wanted. Have done first short ride and can say that I have the perfect size bike. I initially spoke to staff on phone and when I had decided to buy found the ordering process very easy. “An Elusive Problem Fixed”

My Whyte E120 had a problem with a head set that came slightly loose after hard rides. This was annoying and worrying. Several people including me had tried to fix it to no avail. I gave the bike to Roger in the workshop and he went back to basics and found that there was a tiny crack in the lower race. This was completely fixed and the bike was back with me in two days. Simply they were the cheapest delivered by far - most places wanted £17-£20 yet Pedals did them for £14 delivered so can't beat the price. However they were poorly packaged - just wrapped in some brown paper which was half hanging off by the time the postman delivered it. Fortunately it arrived in one piece with no signs of damage. A minor blemish on an otherwise smooth transaction - hope they package more delicate / valuable items better. (read more)

I'd hunted far and wide (ok - a fair amount of time on the internet) for a replacement visor for my Scott Fuga helmet and these guys had them and at a good price. I notice that they don't seem to have a massive range of items but they do have things that chain reaction or wiggle don't and at a good price.
