I placed an order for a wheel on the 14th and came today, the 16th. Well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I wish I'd found Parkers sooner because I decided to go with a slightly cheaper supplier, who will remain nameless (D*******bicycles), waited two weeks for the wheel, it came poorly packaged, damaged and worst of all.....the wrong flippin' wheel !!! The Parkers of Bolton website states delivery within 3 working days and when I spoke with them they said they would dispatch the next day after ordering. So placing the order 9:30am on Tuesday, I thought I'd have my wheels by the weekend for the ride I'd planned. 3 working days later I discover from CityLink that the item has only just been collected that day. I purchased a Whistle bike from Parkers and was very pleased with the machine and the service. After several punctures I decided to fit Gator skin tyres and after several attempts couldn't get them on. I spoke to Parkers and sent the wheels back. After they tried to fit the tyres as well they accepted there was a fault with the rims and supplied a new pair of wheels by return.They also threw in new tubes and a spare tube and returned the package overnight.Back out again on the new wheels... Will ask for a refund if possible, description says that some maufacturers use this item as standard , I think that this is what reassured me, but I dont think I will risk fitting it as the quality is obviously sub standard.
