I was looking for a certain item which I found on website which I bought after checking returns policy in the case that I may not want it. Within minutes I received a confirmation email stating that if there were any problems to contact them immediately. I found a similar item elsewhere at a much cheaper price and sent email immediately within 30 minutes of placing my order stating that I wished to cancel the transaction.
Over 30 minutes later I then received email to say my items had left ...??
1. There is a process in place for immediately changing orders that does not work.
2. Changing your mind on an order within 30 minutes should be sufficient enough to cancel.
3. Due to inefficient service I now have to pay for postage costs of £3.90 for item that I immediately cancelled.
4. Two and a half hours after immediate change of order I received email stating
"Unfortunately your order has been dispatched out from us earlier today.
As such we are unable to cancel your order."
