“Fine service actually!”

Earlier in the week I was surprised to find the MyTriathlon site which I hadn't come across before. It had the tri-suit I wanted (the Zone3 Aquaflo Ladies in size small) at a really good price (which surprised me because no-one else has it in stock at the moment) so I ordered it without even looking at the reviews. I ordered it on Sunday night.

On Tuesday I got an email from MyTriathlon, addressed to someone called Nick, saying that the suit was out of stock. Since my name's not Nick I emailed back and asked if it meant mine. The rep said no, it was intended for someone else and that my suit was on its way. I then looked at the reviews for the site and had a proper panic, having seen horror stories about things not turning up. HOWEVER - guess what, the suit turned up in the post today!! I am so glad as I was about to order one from somewhere else in the gloomy prediction that I'd been had by a scam, but actually it's here within 3 working days of ordering, it's exactly what I ordered and it's in good packaging.

I just wanted to share the story so that people don't panic if they've ordered something and then see the other reviews - I only took a star off because I got an email meant for someone else, otherwise it would have been five stars. It seems like a fine service to me and I would order again from My Triathlon.

It's not only the delivery of mytriahlon, but also the lack of communication when you wait for weeks for the stuff you have ordered, they simply don't give any response to any emails and phone conversations you made.

But they DID reply to me, that was what I was surprised about! When I got the email addressed to Nick I emailed right back and someone responded right away and said it was an error and that my trisuit was in the post. Which it turned out that it was, since I got it the next day ...

I'm not saying my experience is typical, just that they can do good service sometimes because the service I received was fine - cheap, item came within four days and the customer service rep responded to my email within minutes (albeit because of an error first). I can't ask for more really, though I do seem to have gotten lucky!
